It would be wrong because you would have given up on something very precious. Life is a valuable thing. It is precious as well. If you are feeling this way there must be a reason. Why do you feel like this? Is there anything I can do to help?
Would you like to talk about it?
Usually when people get to thinking like this it is the result of deep depression. But depression can have causes. Is your life really that bad?
What are the good points? Can you list them? Have you tried?
Life can be hard for everyone. But if you are not smart, then how come you spelled your question so fluently. You write very well and clearly which tells me you are quite well educated.
As for faster or prettier, I cannot comment, never having met you. But I for one would not judge you nor would I condemn you.
There is no such thing as an unimportant person. We are all unique and different. What one may be good at anther isn't. I know people that can paint. I can't. But I have talents with computers and writing.
We are different. We all have weak and strong points. I'm sure if we talked long enough I could help you see yours.
So please don't give up. That really would be a waste.
If you want to talk then contact me on my email. You should be able to get it from my profile.
I would love to chat.

First of all it is not your life to take - It is Gods. Second, you can not ask forgiveness for killing yourself therefore would probably spend eternity in Hell which by the way would be a lot worse than here. Third, think how selfish it is - your family and friends would be devastated and wonder what they could have done and why you did it.
Trust me - you have a purpose - you just have to find it - there is a plan for your life = just ask God to help you through. It does get better, I promise. Nothing is so bad you have to take your life - if you need to talk - contact me.
I have known 2 people in the last year that did this and it devastated their families. One was my best friends brother who was only 20 and one was my husbands cousin who had 3 kids and a wife. I promise nothing in your life is so bad you can not come out of or handle. Just think what it would do to everyone around you.

For those who have seen the light; there is no birth and there is no death but merely a transition or transcendence. People live for their own reasons and they should be free to die for their own reasons. People procreate purely for selfish reasons. Evolution does not need their co-operation. And humanity has failed - historically - it's sad but it's true. DO NOT READ ON IF YOU ARE TRIGGERED BY OPINION. I DO NOT CONDONE ENCOURAGING PEOPLE TO COMMIT SUICIDE BECAUSE THEY ARE GOING THROUGH A BAD PATCH - THIS IS THE BIG PICTURE. Sometimes life is so bad for the person considering suicide that it could be the best thing, considering the miseries they will have to endure in the years to come. A person's quality of life can be predicted according to their mental, cognitive, physical and environmental health. That's just for starters; sensitivity to injustice, poverty, crime, cruelty, duplicity of everyday living, materialism, race hatred, war, corruption, pollution of the soul, numerous unbearable dualities, monotony and justifiable paranoia, anxiety and the big one - fear. You don't have to look far to see that society seems to rot quicker than it can be treated. Sartre was not wrong when he said: "Hell is other people" Other people; waiting and preparing to control, use, abuse and destroy the souls of those less fit for this flawed world. Like rabbits in the road, just standing still. It's better for these people to choose. Enthusiasm for life is unreasonably inflated by people who are happy to turn a blind eye to all sorts of crap that they think children and young adults don't see or shouldn't worry about. Well many do. And they should not be forced to live the lie or made to feel selfish for making a existential choice which is their birthright. There's a reason why humans are conscious of their mortality and it doesn't matter if it is a moral right or written right. To choose whether to live or die - it is simply a natural right given to humans by nature through consciousness - I would prefer to call it voluntary death. As for the God thing - well if there is a God - voluntary death should be equated for carrying less bad karma and if it isn't - then **** it! Anybody who has tried to make a difference in this life should know that nature is indifferent to the pain and suffering of all living things - Consciousness is to - Humanity has become a mere concept, an optional one. Where such duplicity exists; nobody is impelled or required by imperative to survive till the rest home - where people are too weak to rest. Therefore I have a respect for those who bravely chose voluntary death, without committing a serious crime.

I think it isn't a good decision to kill yourself simply because we all have these ruts in life when we feel like there just isn't anything to look forward to or that we are somehow not good enough to even bother....those times pass (I promise).
You are depressed right now, but there are people who you can talk to (friends, family, maybe even a doctor) who can help you get through this rough time. If you've been feeling this way for a while, you may have clinical depression and there are numerous pills to help fix that imbalance to make you feel normal again.
So, I'm not going to judge whether is is right or wrong, but I do think that if you wait it out or do something else to overcome this time in your life you will look back and be so proud of yourself for remaining strong so that you can enjoy all that your future life has to offer.

Your life is not your own it belongs to God and he should be the only one to decide when you should die. The bible says your body is the temple of God and you should not defile it. Besides, what makes you think there would be someone smarter, faster or prettier than you. You are beautiful in God's eyes and he counts more than anyone. I know life can be hard sometimes, but honey if you would just trust in the Lord and lean on him he will see you through this an so much more. If you are really having a hard time, talk to someone. I prefer my pastor or a friend, but there are doctors if you need them. Your life is precious, there are many who would envy you. Take time and think about all this. I love you. I will be praying for you.
1 Corinthians 3:16
Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
1 Corinthians 3:17
If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.
1 Corinthians 6:19
What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

You are a part of a bigger puzzle. if you're a Christian, you would know that the body that you are blessed to have is not yours but God's. It is a sacred temple that you should hold dear and not manipulate by taking drugs, taking the life He gave you, etc. of course, those are the beliefs that most Christians hold. if you are not a Christian, then I don't know how else to explain it to you. I know that when I was younger (I was 9-10 years old), I was ALREADY thinking about ending my life. But it's not about the things that are happening to you right now. God has bigger plans for you...He loves you and want you to be successful in life. Be patient. there is a plan for you. you cannot dispair and feel as though you have nothing or no one. what about your family? do they kow how you feel. try talking to a friend, maybe a counselor (if you don't want to share your feelings with your peers). Counselors are there to help you.
I hope you are okay. Take care of yourself and God Bless you!!!

I know what you mean and I used to feel the same way because my life used to really suck (it's not really so great now either, come to think of it). I don't think it is wrong to take your own life - that is just a Christian point of view. I don't think that is wise because, even though you may not believe it now, there are people who care about you and if you took your own life it would be devastating to them. The very fact that your question is being answered is proof that people care about you and that you are more than just a space-taker-upper! I hope that helps.

Taking your life is only wrong if you have people why rely on you for care.
If you have no kids or do not solely support someone (and you're not religious), it shouldn't be an issue.
I do take umbrage with people who jump off buildings and such as they put other people lives and property in danger.
Years ago in England, taking your own live was illegal & punishable by death.
There's a win win situation!
The important thing to remember is...
If a person decides to end it all, be sure to do it in a considerate way and in a smart way.
If you attempt it and fail, you will be in mental hospitals being doped up for many years to come, not to mention physically damaged depending on the method and severity of the attempt.

Its not wrong. Back in the early days of christianity they would make life hard for the converts. Life of servitude. Hope in the next life , in exchange of hopelessness in this one. The hopelessness in this life and hope in heaven would be so overwhelming in some, they realized all they have to do is kill themselves. The christians couldn't have their people/workers killing them self. Work force rates dropped. So the church suddenly realized, suicide is the wost of sins. The peoples only hope of escape, was now being taught as an absolute sign of lack of faith, and the punishment was straight to hell fire. Suicide rate dropped. church attendance increased. The heartlessness of christian leaders got worse. So christians were lead to live a struggling life for the church and had to live it right the way to death. Its no wonder their were so many willing to be crusaders.
This view that suicide is 'wrong' is only the result of centuries of indoctrination by religious leaders. And has therefore been made illegal. Christians often like to make their theological laws sound 'secular'.
having said all that. dont do it, pretend you have, and make all things new. Become like a child. change your surroundings. Move to a new area where no one knows you. re learn EVERYTHING. be 'Born Again' if you will.
I know, every where you go, its your own mind. There is no escaping your own mind. So ..... change your thinking. be the boss of your mind. I have dont it.
Oh and PS
Remember this You have no Purpose! No REASON to live!. sounds bad at first. But once you realize this, the burden of life can lift of your shoulders. Your purpose truelly is whatever you want. There is nothing for you to live up to. Nor me or anyone else.
merry christmass

I don't know how old you are,but there are times in every life where ,things are hard. There are no problems that cannot be solved. It is wrong to take your own life, because God gave it to you. And,you would deny so many people the privilege of knowing you and being your friend, and no one has your qualities except you !
