No i agree, not all people that follow their religion are entirely good, nor are they entirely evil, unfortunately what most people seem to miss is that those who do wrong against mankind are just misinformed and misguided.....they have been brainwashed by their leaders (religious leaders) into thinking that whilst they follow the laws of their god (be it Allah or Shiva, or Ganesh or the Almighty), they are doing good, and will forever be accepted into hevean/mecca etc......tell me is it really those misguided fools following orders that are in the wrong? Or is it the ones who teach the holy laws in the first place.....yes all we have moral laws we all must live by, BUT if a person (regardless of religion) is continually told their entire life that something is this way because GOD asks it of you are they really the ones at fault? Rather than Judging those that are following orders, i feel we need to look high up in the chain of command to see where the true wrongdoings are really be done......(And as far as im concerned this goes for all countries and all nations under every religion. Not just a select few that this question may be aimed at.)

You have not really asked a question but you have tried to make a statement, that, unfortunately, does not make much sense.

Religion is "way of life" or how you live.

Religion does not necessarily mean "church"
or "scriptural leanings".

The alcoholic's religion is alcoholism and his God is the alcohol. You woship many Gods if you make yourself a slave to many beliefs or addictions.

You mention "true christian" as if only the Christian is true or false, but the Muslim can also be false.

People cannot use "religion" for their own selfish needs but their selfish needs become their religion, so that the false Muslim is exactly that, a false Muslim and therefore a kafir and not a Muslim.

But all Scripture permit retaliation and revenge even if it calls for restraint and forgiveness or overlooking faults and errors, an eye for an eye.

Terrorism can only be judged by Allah and not by those whose selfish desires are their Religion and who seek to rule Planet Earth by force of Nuclear Power and by exploitation of "Biblical Jews" who still fall under the wrath of Allah and who will never find peace outside of the Quran.

It may be that Allah has set certain of His worshippers or slaves against a sinful World and Allah will reward His obedient slaves while He will punish those who make mischief on the Earth, like Pharaoh was punished as he begged for forgiveness only when he saw the grieveous penalty.

Remember, the sleepers in the cave were young men, but Allah too has different strokes for different folks.

God bless you for your wise words.

As for the poster stifbisket's challenge

No single verse in the Qur’an, when placed in its proper textual and historical context, permits fighting others on the basis of their faith, ethnicity, or nationality. To do so contradicts several established values and principles discussed in the previous section. Combative jihad is not only restricted in terms of what may or may not justify it; it is also strictly regulated. Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) taught us how to behave on the battlefield. As a “hated act,” war should not be resorted to if other peaceful and just means may stop aggression or oppression. Intentions must be pure and no selfish personal or nationalistic agenda should be the driving force. There must be a declaration of war by a legitimate authority after due consultation. No non-combatants should be hurt. All must refrain from looting and unnecessary destruction. Prisoners of war and the injured must be treated humanely.

There are a few verses in the Qur’an which sanction fighting. These verses, however, when understood in their textual and historical context deal with war situations and should not be generalized. The description of the aggressors or oppressors as rejecters of faith or idolatrous people does not mean that they are to be fought against on account of being non-Muslims. Historically, these aggressors happened to be non-Muslims. In fact, the Qur’an allows fighting against fellow Muslims if they are aggressors and other means of restoring peace and justice have failed (Al-Hujurat 49:8-9). The issue is allowing fighting in the presence of aggression, not difference of religion.

Well said. Terrorists are inspired by their own evil, not God. A person who truly serves God cannot be a terrorist.

The Bible says ALL men are sinners.

God sent His Son Jesus Christ to set men free from sin, and pay the penalty for our sins so we could be forgiven and spend eternity with God.
Now that's what the Bible says,,, and its called the Good News.
Have you repentd of sin and called on Jesus yet my friend.?...or are you looking for some OTHER way to heaven.

Jesus said: "I am the Way, the Truth, and The Life; no man can come to the Father except through me'.

Just like guns don't kill people - people kill people. Those people do not respect their religion. They misinterpret and give it a bad name, just like the "God Hates Fags" group and those Baptists who picket funerals. Would you judge the whole group based on those examples? People really need to become more educated regarding Islam.

Islam is a violent religion... and nearly all terrorists today act the way they do because of their religion.
