I don't want any quotes from the Bible on this unless it is a quote saying "Ye shall selectively choose when God's word suits you best and then enforce it but deny it as false interpretation or mistranslation while offering no correct one when his word seems contradictory or works against your current absurd argument." And I seriously doubt that is a bible quote. If you do not have a direct answer to this question do not post an answer. I want a real answer that makes sense and explains it. No simple "we don't always understand" or completely avoiding the subject at hand. Basically don't post worthless crap that doesn't answer my specific question:

Why do you choose when the Bible is good for your arguement and deny it if it works against you? Does God want this? I know that according to your religion he doesn't want you to enforce him just to win favor. No cop out answers.

I once read a story on an atheism website that got me thinking. It was pretty lengthy so I'll give a short summary:

This atheist was in heaven, waiting in line to meet God to be questioned. When the person in front of her reached God, the person explained that they had been a Christian all of their life and they just knew that someday they would stand before Him. God then asked "But why do you believe in me?" and they said "I go to church every week and have read the bible!" God asked again "Why do you believe in me?" but they could not answer and they were denied entry.

The atheist was in line next and they gave a spiel about how she was angry that God sat back and did nothing while people suffered. She was alowed entry to heaven, but refused it.

Why do you believe in God? What do you think of people who believe in God just because they are told that they should? Is there a wrong reason to believe? What is the right reason?

Jehovah's Witnesses are rumoured to be "stonecutters". They therefore could be presumed to be operating on an exchange system. In other words, if they give you something in liquid assets or commodities, such as printed material (including magazines and pamphlets), they might try to rob you on another system. They may rob you of benefits such as opportunities and jobs, or you could even lose your life. The loss of life might be made to look like it just happened or was the result of an accident, when, in reality, their system has made it happen. Stonecutters trade on the human market as well as the liquid assets or monetary market (such as the NYSE).

Mormons are onto this trick.

Well I came 700 mile to visit my son, an my grand child(s), so I just got caught up into thing, so I got a great job, I like my boss an every thing, so i decide it to live at a cheap motel, and been there for month on ends, well one day my son let me know that he think it wrong for me to live .there. an why didnt i come to see, him ,go away, he,s wife dont like me an then i heard the stepgranddaughter, stated that my son can marry someone else, and the whole thing sound like a bunch of trash to me, an i only live 1 mile away from him why dont i walk to see him, just thing like that. I only went to there home only twice since i came about 9 months ago an dont really like it there then, so what kind of women is my son sleep with. then he tell me their happy, an all of stuff.

press 2 for spanish?? bi-langual basically means spanish and english, i have nothing against latinos, hispanics, spanish speaking people, i just wonder why everywhere you go, theres options in spanish everywhere...its so covenient and made so easy for non english speakers to not learn english...ever because they dont have to... i know the majority of the population especially here in california are mexican but this is still america and english is still the major language. is that fair?? everytime you call customer service for something you waste 2 more minutes listening to different options in spanish....

That voice... that scream... it was beyond horrifying.

I live in a quaint little town very close to the ocean, hence the howls of the sea can be heard clearly. One night, I was awoken by a fog horn. Its eerie sound seemed to be calling for me. As I got off my bed and approached the window to shut it, I heard a spine-chilling shriek. I looked through the blinds of the window and noticed something through the miasma of fog. A female figure. It had tangly blonde hair. It wore unholy Banshee attire, vaguely resembling a bath robe worn over a tank top and undergarments. It carried an intricate needle-like syringe. It was ornately decorated and etched with lines and numbers. This Banshee screeched again. I covered my ears. It took the Banshee venom needle and injected it into her arm. Her screeches now sounded maniacally pleasurable. What was she injecting herself with? What unholy Banshee concoction was contained in that Banshee relic? She staggered away into the docks and disappeared.

What do you think? In my humble opinion, my great grandchildren will be living in the world portrayed by V. Slowly, to combat terrorism, the government will take away all of our freedoms until our lives are pretty much like the lives in V. What do you think? Do you agree?
