WHAT?? sheesh... let's see if i can translate. You came 700 miles to visit your son and grand children. You liked it so much you stayed and got a great job with a great boss (an e'erythang), so you decide to live at a cheap motel. But your son let's you know that he thinks it's wrong for you to live there and why didn't you come to see him. Then he says to you, "Go away!". Maybe because his wife doesn't like you. But then, you heard the stepgranddaughter (whew!) say that your son can marry someone else? Maybe you mean he's getting a divorce? But he says that they're happy? Your son is whipped by a mean woman. He has no backbone. Cut him out will... er of your will... She's a whore, so forget about it. Stay, visit with grandchildren, give presents... none to whore... make son feel bad everyday he alive. hrumph. mean son. He should visit his mother more.

I promise you...I had the daughter-in-law from hell...and when I went to help my son and my granddaughter out, after he left her (thank God), she turned her full wrath upon me...and after almost two years of this nonsense, I am still dealing with her. No one would believe some of the stuff she has pulled on me...and the saga continues...so I really feel for you. I kept thinking, "I traveled over two thousand miles for 'this'." I can truly relate to you. Protect yourself the best you can...he married her, you didn't, and you have to do what is best for you. I found out the hard way.

You could be a comedy writer with such drama and really, really, REALLY bad grammar and almost NO grasp of sentence structure.

Is English your primary language? If it is, whew!

I think you are on the right track. Close enough to visit but far enough to stay out of the day-to-day drama. It's nice to respect other peoples privacy, especially if it's yours too.

What?
Without knowing totally what you mean I'm going to say, you will all be much happier if you stay out of your son's marriage, he's grown. As much as you might hate to hear it, he has to make up his own mind now.

How did you find a job with those writing skills? I mean, I can't find a decent job anywhere and I can actually use grammar correctly.

I think you need to live your own life and let them live theirs.

Sometimes the acorn falls pretty far from the tree, and it's best to leave it over there.

We must forgive others for their faults, and sins, as Jesus does us, we should be the one to give in first, as it will eventually provide a greater good.
