The question is often asked of non-Christians from Christians, that what if the non-Christian is wrong, where will their soul be after they die? The Christian belief is that in order to be saved one needs to believe that Jesus was God (more to it obvioiusly).
But my question is, what if this is wrong? The Bible teaches in 1 John 2:22 that all who speak other wise are liars if they don't proclaim Jesus is God. What if the New Testement was altered by the Devil to trick you into believing falsely about Jesus? And the parts about it being the truth and all else is lies is meant to psychologically keep you believing it and not investigate its validity - and find the Truth?
Since we are talking about your soul and what happens to it when you die, isn't it neccessary to approriately investigate the claims made that Jesus is not a savior, that he wasn't God? You wouldn't want your soul to end up in the wrong place would you? I wouldn't want that to happen to you soul. -Thanks
