No specific need for a so call ´´prophet´´ these days. The bible has a perfect record for foretelling the future and giving us all the necessary exhortations. If a prophet brings something new or adds something that will do more harm than good. We don´t need a prophet to tell us the things we already know. God bless you!!!

There are to be many of them in the last days.... as stated; "Your children will see those things coming and the old men will have dreams." Many of the problems we see in the questions posed in this site reveals the many who are confused because they are not able to interpret what they are experiencing. They feel quite lost and alone in their dilemma. They are seeking that magic pill that will make them feel "normal", not really knowing why this is happening to them.. Many of those people need only have the realization; they are possible conduits for important messages, (if they can get off the self or the big "I." Rather, they elect to remain confused and undirected.

If there are any, then only God knows what His purpose was in sending them. That's something we can't know unless He tells us. But I don't actually know of any living prophets, personally.
