does it strike you as wrong for a white person to tell anyone of another race to just "get over" slavery or discrimination?or doesnt it sound wack for a person of the average white majority to tell anyone else things such as to"get over" kosovo,"get over" gas chambers,"get over" this and that and "get a life" deal with it" etc-while telling others to "get over" things like that,it may not be an outright racial slur and it doesnt mean that you support those things, but doesnt that just sound like it belittles serious issues and serious atrocities from a rather sheltered, culturally self-centered point of view? please understand that i am not saying this about anyone specific out there because the people with the q&a are anonymous - i'm just sayin that there are such people who say comments like the above -what do u think about that?do u find it to be wrong? do u think it's okay, not a big deal? its a question just for human beings - i dont care if you're white, black, blue or green

some here who claim they are Jewish-but reject Moses and Isaiah-about the blood atonement and it points right to Jesus-what other Messiah came and died as the lamb of God. Since we have no sacrice today-either our God of Judaism lied through Moses and Isaiah or Jesus is our atonement as promised.
Moses said "The life of the flesh is in the blood, and i've given it to make atonement for your souls."
Isaiah predicted the fulfillment in Jesus 700 bce perfectly chapters 52 vs 13-53 vs12 "He will be exaulted, but first marred more than any man. He shall be despised and rejected, and lay down his life an atonement for our sins." chapter 53 vs 6 Isaiah also said "All we like sheep have gone astray, and the Lord will make to light on him the iniquities of us all."
hello Shalom-what part of Moses and Isaiah dont they get-blood atonement for sins-and Jesus perfectly fulfills that.
one guy even said Jesus blood wasnt pure&royal-excuse me-the blood comes from the father=God!!!

Bush's strongest supporters want America to be a nation built on Christian values.

Luke:27"But I tell you who hear me: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, 28bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. 29If someone strikes you on one cheek, turn to him the other also. If someone takes your cloak, do not stop him from taking your tunic. 30Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back. 31Do to others as you would have them do to you.

Bush and his supporters, so proud to be born-again Christians, have perverted American values so far from what is taught in Gospel that I can't help wonder why it's so easy for the devout to be completely oblivious to the central teachings of their religion.

Willys cynical thought for the day;

I have no idea what the formula for success is, but I do know the guaranteed recipe for failure; try to fugging please everybody!

NUDITY I was driving with my three young children one warm summer evening when a Woman in the convertible ahead of us stood up and waved. She was stark naked! As I was reeling from the shock, I heard my 5-year-old shout from the back seat, "Mom! That lady isn't wearing a seat belt!"

HONESTY My son George, 4, came screaming out of the bathroom to tell me he'd dropped his toothbrush in the toilet. So I fished it out and threw it in the garbage. George stood there thinking for a moment, then ran to my bathroom and came out with my toothbrush. He held it up and said with a charming little smile, "We better throw this one out too then, 'cause it fell in the toilet a few days ago."

OPINIONS On the first day of school, a first-grader handed his teacher a note from his mother. The note read, "The opinions expressed by this child are not necessarily those of his parents."

KETCHUP A woman was trying hard to get the ketchup to come out of the jar. During her struggle the phone rang so she asked her 4-year-old daughter to answer the phone. "It's the minister, Mommy," the child said to her mother. Then she added , "Mommy can't come to the phone to talk to you right now. She's hitting the bottle."

MORE NUDITY A little boy got lost at the YMCA and found himself in the women's locker room. When he was spotted, the room burst into shrieks, with ladies grabbing towels and running for cover. The little boy watched in amazement and then asked, "What's the matter haven't you ever seen a little boy before?"

ELDERLY While working for an organization that delivers lunches to elderly shut-ins, I used to take my 4-year-old daughter on my afternoon rounds. The various appliances of old age, particularly the canes, walkers and wheelchairs, unfailingly intrigued her. One day I found her staring at a pair of false teeth soaking in a glass. As I braced myself for the inevitable barrage of questions, she merely turned and whispered, "The tooth fairy will never believe this!"

DRESS- UP A little girl was watching her parents dress for a party. When she saw her dad donning his tuxedo, she warned, "Daddy, you shouldn't wear that suit." "And why not, darling?" "You know that it always gives you a headache the next morning."

DEATH While walking along the sidewalk in front of his church, the minister heard the intoning of a prayer that nearly made his collar wilt. Apparently, his 5-year-old son and his playmates had found a dead robin. Feeling that proper burial should be performed, they had secured a small box and cotton batting, then dug a hole and made ready for the disposal of the deceased. The minister's son was chosen to say the appropriate prayers and with sonorous dignity intoned his version of what he thought his Father always said: "Glory be unto the Faaaather, and unto the Sonnn ... and into the hole he gooooes."

SCHOOL A little girl had just finished her first week of school. "I'm just wasting my time," she said to her mother. "I can't read, I can't write and they won't let me talk!"

BIBLE A little boy opened the big family bible. He was fascinated as he fingered through the old pages. Suddenly, something fell out of the Bible. He picked up the object and looked at it. What he saw was an old leaf that had been pressed in between the pages. "Mama, look what I found", the boy called out." What have you got there, dear?" With astonishment in the young boy's voice, he answered, "I think it's Adam's underwear!"

And just in case, I have a gun, thanks for asking.

Because, God is perfect(What do you mean by perfect??) he cannot
accept any imperfectness(Here it clearly means possesion of SIN--now define sin). That's why a person is required to become a Christian
and believing that Jesus paid for his sins--he becomes sinless or perfect. So, by perfect--you mean sinless or something more?
There is no question of God being a sinner or sinless--because
that requirement is for humanbeings only. So, the perfection of God
means something more. So, it implies that you need to be something more(not only sinless) to avoid hell and be with a PERFECT GOD.
I don't see any other alternative other than all people being elevated to GODHOOD. Does it make any sense????
The other alternative is that--although God is perfect--he doesn't require us to be so--he differenciates between sins and just forgive us from sins when we repent(not by the Atonement).
