some here who claim they are Jewish-but reject Moses and Isaiah-about the blood atonement and it points right to Jesus-what other Messiah came and died as the lamb of God. Since we have no sacrice today-either our God of Judaism lied through Moses and Isaiah or Jesus is our atonement as promised.
Moses said "The life of the flesh is in the blood, and i've given it to make atonement for your souls."
Isaiah predicted the fulfillment in Jesus 700 bce perfectly chapters 52 vs 13-53 vs12 "He will be exaulted, but first marred more than any man. He shall be despised and rejected, and lay down his life an atonement for our sins." chapter 53 vs 6 Isaiah also said "All we like sheep have gone astray, and the Lord will make to light on him the iniquities of us all."
hello Shalom-what part of Moses and Isaiah dont they get-blood atonement for sins-and Jesus perfectly fulfills that.
one guy even said Jesus blood wasnt pure&royal-excuse me-the blood comes from the father=God!!!

Obviously you can be Jewish and reject the idea that jesus was the messiah -- since there are still so many Jews who are still waiting for their messiah, and do in fact not accept jesus as the messiah :)

Lots of the "prophecies" concerning the messiah don't fit jesus anyway -- look at one you quote, that the messiah would be "marred more than any man." I can think of lots of men that were "marred" more than jesus was. Also, the whole idea of shedding blood for atonement was based on sacrificing animals to atone for sins, a brutal, ignorant practice that was made adopted by ancient Jews from other cultures that were already practicing such sacrifices.
Just because you believe something doesn't make it right or the truth, pal...

If you are Jewish you are still waiting for the Messiah to come, if you beleive Jesus was the son of God then you are a Christian

Either way you believe in the same God and creator, Jewish and Christian people will both be meeting up in heaven. If we are right and Jesus was indeed the messiah I think he is then the Jewish people have a surprise. But of course Jesus could have been a space alien as far as we all know and I may be the one surprised. Either way I wont be able to come back and give you any answers then

Jews do not believe that Jesus was the messiah, thus the descriptions of the messiah in the Hebrew Bible do not describe Jesus. Jews believe that the Messiah has not yet come. As for "accepting Jesus into your heart", that doesn't work for Jews . . . only Christains. (I don't know about Jews for Jesus, but most Jews would say that they are a separate religion.)

Romans 8:28-30 and we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him who have been called according to his purpose. For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. and those he predestined, he also called, those he called, he also justified, those he justified, he also glorified. in the days before Christ the chosen people were the Jews. they sinned and turned their backs on God so much that he took away their birthright by bringing Christ into the world. God's new chosen people are the ones he brings to himself through Christ. notice i keep saying he. the Jews, not all, but many are not called to Christ because of their sin. it doesn't matter what you say only God can call a person to himself. the Jews today don't see it just as the ones who saw Jesus perform miracles didn't see it. their eyes have been closed and their hearts have been hardened. just be lucky he opened your eyes, he doesn't do that for everyone.

How sad to come to believe fairy tales after being raised free of them.

What kind of all powerful God has a rule that no one can come into heaven because of their sin until he has sex with an earth maiden, like his cousin zeus, and then gets everyone to slaughter his fabulous off-spring so we can slide into heaven on his blood. I suppose the same God who would 'josh' with a father about sacrificing his son... A god created by humans for humans.

Jews do not believe Jesus of Nazareth was the Messiah. The Jewish priests who met with Jesus checked him out and didn't find him to have the qualifications of the Messiah they were waiting for.

If you've accepted Jesus into your heart to fogive your sin, you're a Christian. Welcome.

Yes you can be Jewish and reject Christ as your Savior. You can also be brought up Jewish, be Jewish and accept him. You would be a Christian Jew =>. Nothing wrong with that. Christians share the old testament with the Jewish Faith. I respect you highly because you weren't brought up that way yet you accepted Christ.

You can be ethnically Jewish and accept Christ, thus converting to Christianity and leaving your Jewish beliefs. It is my understanding the belief in the Messiah is not a belief that all Jews accept, just certain sects.
