Could I be arrested for racism, or should they be arrested for breaking the etiquette and lacking common sense?

And just in case, I have a gun, thanks for asking.

Well, I'm not saying ALL black teenagers are like that, but what if? True fact: I came across them tomorrow. Luckily I was smart enough to remember I'd better ask this question first just in case.

And when I said "tomorrow," I meant "yesterday."

Yes, if it were a group of drunk white girls, I'd call them names as well. Does that make me racist, too?

To even ask that question spews hatred and ignorance. So what if they are being obnoxious and disrupting? Last time I looked it's not against the law. You talk like that and you will be the one in trouble, not them. When are young people going to learn that it doesn't matter in this world whether you are purple with pink polka dots? If you are full of hatred and ignorance it will bleed through your pores. Claiming that you have a gun on a public forum isn't the smartest thing to do. Your account CAN be traced right back to your doorstep.

I suggest you get rid of the gun (take it to any fire department and say you found it if you have to-they'll take it) and lose the racist attitude before you end up in prison or worse, dead. We all need to learn to live on this earth. I'm not saying you need to love everyone, but you need to stop the hate. There is already too much hate in this world.

You best approach is to just leave the area. These teenagers want nothing more than to get you upset. The same would apply if there were Hispanic, Asian or white teenagers. It's a turf battle and according to them, "They Rule" Having a gun can get you in more trouble. You don't know how many of them may have a gun. You may show your weapon to scare them. But if someone else has a gun, he may shoot you claiming self defense. Best advice - Get away from there and go someplace else. Good luck.

Either walk away and keep walking or call the police. If they are behaving that bad, I would call the police before someone got hurt.

I don't think they can be arrested for "breaking the etiquette" or "lacking common sense".

You use that gun and you won't be asking such stupid questions on this site. You will be getting your ged in jail.

Rather than taking matters into your own hands and possibly causing more tension and hostility why not consider, removing yourself from the situation and contacting the authorities to deal with a group being obnoxious regardless of race?

If no one seems to be able to handle the situation, sometimes it's better for your personal health and well being to back yourself away from the situation and just leave.

And forget the gun that's just going to wind you up in jail someday.

I think it would be wise to keep race out of it. They are obnoxious kids a part of the human race. They are the ones miss behaving and their race has nothing to do with it.

By the way, ditch the gun and avoid getting into situations that you feel you might need it. Just having one is temptation waiting happen and gives you a false sense of security. Face it, you wouldn't think of saying anything if that gun wasn't a back up, right?

You are obnoxious and repugnant. People like you make me feel so tired. I suggest you go say what you want and I hope you get what is coming to you.

Of course, I won't read about it in the papers or hear about it on the news because you are an insignificant entity.

Why would you need to use the n-word? Just tell them to be quiet. The color of their skin has nothing to do with it. They are just teenagers being obnoxious and disruptive. They could be from any race.

no I'm white and i don't agree with that word....what about obnoxious teenage girls laughing and giggling...or the drunk guys at taco bell at 2am nothing will be resolved by using vulgarity and eventually you'll get yourself in more trouble than a gun will be able to get you out of

If you have a gun, and no permit you can be arrested. You may be arrested for breach of peace if you call them that. It's just not right to use such a word.

Seems like you may be the type of person who deserves to have people being obnoxious to them. Of course that is not acceptable. If you do have to shout back then don't make any comment about their colour as it is their actions that are making you annoyed and not their colour! I hope!!
