That dude from Nsync is gay, I'm like sh** we knew that back in what 99. I digressed from my point, It is preached and preached that Gay people are no different but why the celebration for declaring your orientation doesn't that right there single you out and give cause to make you different. Shouldn't it be just like any other day? To me it's irratating becasue now a gay person needs more attention for who they choose to be with vs anyone else. If I don't care on the straight side why should I care about the other side why does it need to be told? I'm not bashing, so don't get all Mike Tyson-ishh I believe I have a point is all.

A friend of mine in the chuch visited a MONASTERY this last weekend and told me about the beautiful CATHEDRAL they had within the MONASTERY! She told me the NUNS were reading their BIBLES and PRAYING to GOD in silence while she walked through.

How can people who SEEM TO BE SO GOOD, and who PRAY to the GOD of MOSES, not celebrate the BIRTH of CHRIST?! She told me of the wonderful statues of MARY and of the NATIVITY. They OBVIOUSLY believe in these facts, so WHY do they choose to CELEBRATE Hanauchka instead of CHRISTMAS!?

It doesn't make ANY sense to me. Will CATHOLICS go to hell for not celebrating the BIRTH of the SAVIOR!?

In an email exchange with a friend, she suggested:

"At the García caves! (those are some caves just outside Monterrey, Mexico). There is a "room" with 2 skylights on top where the light enters, outside is day but inside is night and the skylights would simulate the moonshine!"

Does that sound romantic and memorable, or does it have the potencial for a flop? Would you like it or not?

(Those caves are a turistic spot in Monterrey)

For those of who who haven't been paying attention, my name is Anna M and I am an ex-Jew, now an apathetic agnostic.
My mother and I converted to Judaism when I was 8, then my mother went insane. Or perhaps, she was already down the slippery slope to madness before we converted.
She told me once that the only reason we became jewish was because she had "visions" and dreams about symbols that she thought were Jewish. She eventually told my rabbi about her dreams, and that she believed people were "after her" because of them, and shortly after we stopped going to temple altogether. I never got a straight answer from her about why. I think it's because the rabbi saw that my mother was becoming mentally unbalanced, and perhaps offered her help, and she became convinced he was out to "get" her too. Maybe, he even thought that her desire to convert wasn't sincere because of her mental state, and so it kind of invalidated the whole process.

2 questions that I want to put up to a vote :

What do you want to happen when you die?
And what do you believe will happen when you die?

1) Live forever in this life, never die.
2) Go to some place where you can live with your family and your creator with out worries of food, etc.
3) Go to some place where they punish you for all the bad things you think you did in your life.
4) Be born again in a new body with out memories of your past life.
5) Aliens take you away to a utopia.
6) Wake up from a very long dream.
7) Wake up from a computer simulation.
8) Wake up as if you didn't die, except you can now change reality with your mind (change your form or the forms of things around you, create new forms, etc).
9) Disappear into nothingness never to exist ever again.

You're not limited to the above, they are just examples.

I read somewhere that it is scientificly proven that only people who believe in a Christian God can be possesed by devil. It never happened that devil would posses atheis, muslim, buddist...What do you say about that.....
By possesed people I mean those who think they are possesed by devil and usually this people are manicly and with whole heart devoted to christian god.
I'm taliking about (devil) possesion like eating flys, seeing satan, vometing, speaking latin, maybe even flying. It's rare but it happened...

at first i had slp paralysis, then i felt as if my "spirit" is floating away? i had this thought of other spirits might tak over my body if i leave so i tried all means to move, like focusing on moving my fingers, it helps. But i fall aslp after a min and the cycle comes back again! pls advice me on how to avoid it, i had many slpless nights, sometimes i even fear of falling aslp, it happens 4 times a week on me.. pls help =(
