I think few things come to men naturally...

It's definitely forced by society.

If society was more warlike where the majority of the men would go out and get killed; if society was structured around it being your duty to marry your brothers wife/wives when he is killed so that they wouldn't be destitute; then you'd see... society would be quite accepting of polygamy.

but agree with the above two... monogamy is the natural state for a man; with two they'd always be fighting, with three, two of them'd pick on the other one; but with four there'd be peace... well at least there'd be peace amongst the women... four, I don't even want to imagine that... they'd literally rip him to shreds... one'd be plenty I reckon.

So yeah... both

Not only natural, but good. When you enter a long term relationship, reproduce, it will tame you a bit, give you purpose, drive you to become someone honorable. Sleeping around will drive you to become more animal, the sex might be good, but your soul will suffer. Incidentally, women benefit a great deal from being with one man, as well. When you ask this question, ask yourself whether you want your mother or sister taken care of by one faithful man, or serviced by a seires of men who just want to get off and move on.
