all of my friends tell me its the best, but none of them have ever been there themselves. They all read the reviews about it, but none of us can find it. They say that the only way in is to surrender yourself to the will of the owner, and give up something you really love. What I'm wondering is this, if they haven't been there how do they know it's so great? I mean, what if it's a Sushi Bar, I don't like Sushi, so why would I want to go there? They keep telling me I have to believe that it's great or it won't be, but I don't know, it sounds like a scam to me. What do you think?

Can you "choose" to believe in Unicorns? Can you "choose" to believe in lepricahns? Is that real faith? If you "make" yourself believe in Jesus despite all the evidence to the contrary is that good enough to keep you from "choosing" to send yourself to everlasting never ending torture in hell? ( since many Christians her aren't man enough to admit that it is actually God who throws us into hell, as if any sane person would choose eternal torture voluntarily). So lip service is all it takes to get into heaven, whether the heart is truly in it or not? Have you ever fallen in love with someone who wasn't your choosing?

I was rasied in church but haven't been back to church in like 7 years. My real question is how do you really know that god is in your life I mean i believe in god and everything, I know there is something that looks over us I have 3 healthy kids and a wonderful hubby who has made it thru 2 tours in Iraq so I realize something is looking out for us. So is it ok for me to believe in him but not attend church. I am always told go to church but can't I worship in my own way??

I have bartended at several upscale catering and banquet facilities for years. Why is it that at a Irish or Italian wedding people tip generously but at ANY Jewish event the guests do not tip nearly at all?

At a typical non-Jewish wedding I can make on average of $150 in tips but at a Jewish wedding or 'Mitzvah I will get less than $10. No lie...$10 for a full shift.

Like most in the food service industry bartenders work for tips.

They (Jews) will come up to the bar and pull out a fold of money until their drink is poured ("we call this threatening to tip") and then put it away when we hand them the drinks without even peeling off a single dollar for the bartender!!! They do this so the bartender will make a stronger drink for them thinking that they are going to get a tip out of it.

So tell me...Why won't the Jews tip?

This is not an anti-semetic post. It's a real question for a real and ongoing situation.

I ask for proof of god, and get people saying evolution is lies. While I think it is great that you have answers, could they this time be to the question? IS THERE ANY PROOF OF GOD? Not flowers, not trees, proof. As I said, there is more proof of god, than there is of santa. In fact santa has more proof. I want proof, not look at the world around you, and if that is all you have don't answer.

My GF and I have almost no friends to go out with. Why? Well, everyone has children. They can’t seem to resolve their baby sitter issues, no matter what. We don’t know anyone that is child free. Every time we go out with anyone, one of the following has to happen:

Nobody can get away before 5:00, because of their kids. So we have to go out when restaurants are at their busiest.
The other party will take 3 or 4 calls from their dysfunctional children.
The other party will be a hour, or more late.
The other party will surprise us, by showing up with one or more screaming children. This can cut the evening short becuase many places do not allow children after a certain hour of the evening.

We have somewhat resolved the tardiness issue by telling other parties to call us when they get to the destination. We will then make sure we arrive within 10 min. That way they can get a small taste of what it is like to wait.
