Like all religions, it'll go the way of the dodo. I don't find it any more or less plausible than any other.
I also don't find it any more violent per se. Yes, there are lots of Muslims out there who use it as an excuse for violence, but I think they're getting their enthusiasm whipped up by a bunch of fascist dictators and silly clerics. Once the Middle East modernizes and secularizes, Islam will be just another religion.

I am Muslim and the most peaceful and respectful person on Yahoo Answers. This is what I have learned from Qur'an and you still insist Islam the violent religion. The wars and struggle in the Muslim world is not religious its political.

As a nonislamic woman,i can say it is a progressive religion.But the paradox lies within,why are women treated by men the way they are when Islam actually respects women?The fasts observed, are scientific.The religion is in accordance with the nature of humans,but cant understand the paradox.

I dont want to undertand it, I dont wish to understand it and im sick of hearin about it.
The negatives: honour killings, sham arranged marriages, terror, Jihad, bin laden, Abu Hamza, Ricin, fertilizer, suicide bombings, oil, sharia law, blah blah balh
The poistives?: hijab, praying, veils, corner shops, praying all the time, dodgy kebabs, mosques (built on taxpayers money of course!), Allah....
Funny that it may seem but neither the negatives or the positives should be in the UK (a Christian state but for how long?!) but instead in other muslim/Islamic states where it all belongs...
Dont call me a racist as i enjoy co-existing with other cultures. I dont enjoy coexsiting with those that purposely make it difficult for others tofind peace, demand everything to be their own way and stop genuines to receive genuine help from governments etc. I digress...
Sorry but i have had my fill about these problem causers associated with it!

I see Islam the same way I see any religion. Fundamentalists are the problem, whether its Islam, Christian, whatever.

religion of hate cruelty it's controlling peopl
people of that religion are by their religious laws allowed to kill nayone who is not of their religion
they can kill their wives their kids
no one cares
they killed many people including americans(9-11) jews (all the time) christians (all the time) the lists go on so how can people say it is a peaceful religion when in fact is is most certanly not a peaceful religion
