No need to, I know my place in this life is that of healer, mother and teacher, as well as transporter between Heaven's Dark Eve and the Summerland via the assistance and careful sword of the Archangels. If I ever need to refer to my notes from previous lives, I simply cross the veil into the Atmic plane and reference my own Akashic records.

I wonder about humanity's place in the universe all the time. This is one of the primary things that separates us from other animals.

To not do so, is to not follow the direct instructions from God.

"Subdue the earth"

In other words, OWN it. Good and responsible home ownership requires that you know your home inside and out. The best way to acheive this is through observation and understanding.

In other words, Science.

To NOT support science is to disregard God's first command to Adam.

Only fools think otherwise.

You already own a place in the universe. Why wonder about that? Instead decide what you going to do with that one square meter you have supreme authority over. One option is: You can give it back, if you don't want it. Not many creatures can do that.

I don't feel my place on this Universe is particularly significant to anything.

I do, however, stay awake at night wondering about my place within my family home.

I believe people who have no hope, no faith, and no clear idea of where they will go when they die causes many to lay awake nights. It's called "conscience". I believe that saved Christians sleep soundly, without fear of the universe, because they know their creator, they have claimed the gift of eternal life through the sacrifice and blood of Jesus Christ, and they have no worries at all about the universe. God is in charge of all of his creations.

I used to stay up all night KNOWING that I was the center of the universe, then I got off the dope.

I am sure there are people who do that. Personally I enjoy sleeping nights. My days are full of things to do, people to see and places to go. I know exactly what my reason for being is!: To Know, to Love and to Serve God!

Oh, yes, we do!! For those of us not so self-centered that we realize there *is* a universe out there beyond our own cyber-absorbed moments, that is. Maybe if you live long enough, you may experience it as well -- my 86 year old mother is doing a lot of it right now, as, I understand, do many old people as they face their own mortality. But I guess not many of you would understand that.

Um...Duh?
And I've concluded that we are all pointless and meaningless. We're all gonna live and die, and time will go on, and things will change, and we will all be forgotten millions of years in the future. But that doesn't make me unhappy or discourage me, it just makes me want to live a happy, full, satisfying life. I try to enjoy everything I do and savor it :)
