Use words from different languages... i guess French, Italian or Spanish, would be the most impressive in that context.
Or technical terms... that's real fun.
And i would suggest you to read more books, good books... it will provide you more, then one word, to describe your feelings or "some"things.

There are lots of words you could use instead of cool. "Gnarly, groovy, awesome, hip, smooth, slick", etc. I suggest... a thesaurus.
