I hope you get to your heaven or you find complete happiness in your everlasting life with your ever loving god-but what you believe is that some (what sounds like) an acid fantasy trip by John in Revelations has you Christians believing that These are the last days and that you will be saved-WELL HOW ABOUT SAVING MOTHER EARTH-she is dying because you think you are saved-Look at the stupidity of the war in IraQ-and while we kill there under the guise of Weapons of Mass Destruction and Chemical agents it's the oil that provides the fuel to this radical HATE of muslims-What if insteasd of putting all of our goddamned money into this war we used it to finD alternative methods of energy-Hey the world turns and there is no fuel propelling it or her travels in orbit-she flies through space by the pull of gravity and magnetism-but here we are stuck on this oil-WHICH IS A HIGH POLLUTANT LIKE COAL-and see Mother Earth is running a fever-STOP DRIVING-Walk like I do-She's Sick-CHRIST! walk! walk!

Would you still believe in "god"? Would there be a point to still believing in "god"? I'm especially curious to see what agnostics have to say, since they believe in god, but not religion. In other words, what's the point to believing in a God, if not for the afterlife?

I've read in the past that a few witches thought that the demons had beautiful names. I figured that if "Gabriel" and "Michael" are two examples of spirits' names, I agree with them. Does anyone know any names?

At one point the Pharisees come to Jesus and ask him for a sign.

1. In Mark 8:12 Jesus says that "no sign shall be given to this generation."

2. In contradiction to Mark, in Matthew 12:39 Jesus says that only one sign would be given - the sign of Jonah. Jesus says that just as Jonah spent three days and three nights in the belly of the whale, so he will spend three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. Here Jesus makes an incorrect prediction - he only spends two nights in the tomb (Friday and Saturday nights), not three nights.

3. In contradiction to both Mark and Matthew, the gospel of John speaks of many signs that Jesus did:

a. The miracle of turning water into wine at the wedding in Cana is called the beginning (or first) of the signs that Jesus did (John 2:11).

b. The healing at Capernaum is the "second sign" (John 4:54).

c. Many people were following Jesus "because they were seeing the signs He was performing" (John 6:2).

a. In Matthew 27:5 Judas hangs himself.

b. In Acts 1:18 he bursts open and his insides spill out.

c. According to the apostle Paul, neither of the above is true. Paul says Jesus appeared to "the twelve" after his resurrection. Mark 14:20 makes it clear that Judas was one of the twelve.

In Matthew 19:28, Jesus tells the twelve disciples, including Judas, that when Jesus rules from his throne, they will sit on twelve thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

Very confusing all these Contradictions? Im sure Christians have a good way of knowing which is the true version?

Max Lucado said in one of his books that if the gospel is bread then Christians are the delivery people. (from A Gentle Thunder? It's been a long time since I read it lol)

Anyway since we can't see (or in any other way sense God, before some asks about air again), it is only reasonable to decide if Christianity is worth anything or not based on the actions of Christians?

John's first encounter with Jesus was while both of them were still in their mothers' wombs, at which time John, apparently recognizing his Saviour, leaped for joy (Luke 1:44). Much later, while John is baptizing, he refers to Jesus as "the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world", and "the Son of God" (John 1:29,36). Later still, John is thrown in prison from which he does not return alive. John's definite knowledge of Jesus as the son of God and saviour of the world is explicitly contradicted by Luke 7:18-23 in which the imprisoned John sends two of his disciples to ask Jesus, "Are you the one who is coming, or do we look for someone else?"
Was John just confused? Maybe prison life screwed his mind up?

Is there any evidence that any other living species believes in God, or is religion just a creation of humanity, and all other living species are effectively just atheists.

Seems to me if humanity could rid itself of all of this religious God nonsense, the world would be a much more peaceful and happier place to live.
