Is there any evidence that any other living species believes in God, or is religion just a creation of humanity, and all other living species are effectively just atheists.

Seems to me if humanity could rid itself of all of this religious God nonsense, the world would be a much more peaceful and happier place to live.

I think they believe in a God .... of course not our Christian God Papa or God Son ..... but for example in a God like ancient Romans and Greek also had like the God of Thunder (which they are afraid of and hide from) .... and Venus (because also exist attractive and less attractive chimpanzee girls there, so they have an idol of beauty) ... and the Sun-God (because they feel happy in a paradise of fruit and sunshine).

Reason for all this is, that both of us, mankind and chimpanzees, run in their brain a neuron network .... and this basically has a "God-center" .... meaning a network which reflects a connection to some higher species with more power and miraculous abilities ... we summarize this with the name "God" and all races obviously have and need this construction in order to survive better .... even if there is no physical or biological proof of its existence, some mental help comes out of it

I don't think that religion is so bad. I am a none religious person, however I see many attributes that religion offers to lost sould. On the other hand I would say that animal don't have the ability to think. Animal react and act on instict, therefor, they cannot believe in god. God is part of the kindom of sapiens because he was created by them.

Unless they've developed agriculture it seems doubtful. The human concept of god evolved primarily from using ancient astronomy as a calendar for agricultural purposes.

I agree with the answer about being more highly evolved. We are the only one's who question our existance thereby needing to justtify it. Most other creatures just exist and dig that.
