Because if he can, then there's something he cannot do. Therefore he is not omnipotent and therefore not god. If he cannot, there is still something he cannot do. Therefore, he is not omnipotent and therefore not god.

God cannot do anything he wants. That is false statement. Can God be unjust...No. Can God be greedy...No...Can God make things he cannot lift...No... God does Godly things. God is not like humans where he has to actually grab and pick up things. When God wants something done his command is "BE" and it is. So no he cannot create that rock so large that even he cannot "lift" it because that goes against his attributes. God is free from any imperfections most high.

Silly question. Why do you waste the brainwaves on it. God isn't as people think. Everyone assumes he's some guy. God is an it. It is everything. You know how the indians used to say... the spirit of every rock and tree and antelope guide us and blah blah blah. That's god. The indians were on the right track before all this organized religion crap. God doesn't care who's right, and who's wrong, and doesn't punish those who don't listen to him. I believe it simply wants respect for everything and everyone. Why on earth would he create a stupid rock so stupid big that even he couldn't lift it, and because he didn't it meant he wasn't god. It's like saying, can you make a square without 4 corners? no? then you're not god. bah. But god doesn't make ****. argh. nevermind. No one will ever understand. Too concentrated on whether it's true or not, or which is the right religion, everything gets lost. The whole point! I BLOW YOU!!!!! KABOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!

The flaw is in the rock, not God.

You see, God can do anything logically possible. That's the key here, is 'logically possible.' Since God could move any material object, there can't exist a 'rock so big He couldn't move it.' The rock is an impossibility.

It's sort of like asking if God could make a circular shaped square. Of course He couldn't. But that's not because God isn't all-powerful. It's because such a thing can't logically exist. A circle, by definition, has no corners while a square has four corners and four sides.

Yes there is a God! He created everything...so NO is the answer. By the way, His son is Jesus and by Him, we are made righteous to God the Father. By no other way are we saved. Ask Jesus into your life today cause the end is getting really close. And read the Bible, I suggest starting with the Gospel of John first. but also check out Revelations...cause things are going down now. I challenge you....smile.

My pal - are you able to boost your lungs or heart. are you able to (the dreamer) raise the rock on your dream? you may only be a witness. Any creation calls for a fabrics reason and an smart reason. For some thing won't be able to be created out of no longer some thing and inert gadgets can not create. So an smart fabric reason which exists continuously (it does no longer violate common sense) is the reason for all creation. In clinical words, Hinduism states that The result won't be able to be different from the reason. The result's reason perceived in a special variety. even as the outcome end to exist reason by myself continues to be. Is it no longer actual. even as adorns of Gold are created, Gold isn't lost. it truly is an similar. adorns are created out of Gold and interior of Gold. Gold nonetheless exists. ornament is a theory while Gold is the certainty. further is the dream. The dream international isn't some thing however the dreamer. each and every personality interior the dream international is created and has certainty in the course of the dream. They were creations no longer different from the dreamer himself. all of them might want to ensure into the dreamer. The result won't be able to be different from the reason. The result's reason perceived in a special variety. even as the outcome end to exist reason by myself continues to be. So, in our Hindu subculture we worship each and every being as God. All it truly is permeated by using God (Ishavaasyam idam sarvam) is our Hindu Upanishadic certainty

The Bible says the one thing God can't do is lie....but there is no point in discussing the existance of God with you because you have already made up your mind and there is no point in arguing.

The problem with this argument is that you are trying to give God human attributes, such as strength. Open your mind to what God really is, and you'll no longer need to think of Him/keep Him within your simple human boundaries. Strength, time and so on are things God invented, so why would He limit Himself to them?

That is he stupidest question EVER.

IF god exists than he would be able to control everything and would not be affected by things like physics. He would create the rock and cause it to levitate.
