Now that I work as a gas station clerk, will Thor think less of me? My last jobs were at fast food places, with a constant stream of work where I could prove my work ethic. This job is way easier. Is this woman's work?

I live near Corpus Christi, TX and cannot find any kind of gay support group at all. I've looked online to no avail. I would like to get out and absorb some of the "culture" and get a chance to know and talk to people about their struggles before they came out. Thanks guys!

Ok - this happens often enough to me. How do you guys get out of this? You are with a group of people and then someone brings up a topic about your self that you don't want to discuss in front of everyone. I don't want to lose my cool in front of the group and ridicule the person. Nor do I want to appear weak by admitting to everyone that this is a sore spot with me and I feel insecure about it being discussed. I end up tense and angry.

How do you tactfully get people to shut up about something? What do you say to change the subject?

Really there is no such thing as some super species that know's every thing about everyone and is always watching? thats impossible there's many solar systems out there and no living creature could be large like god or like smart it's only people's beleif's the truth is there's no such thing as god or heaven or hell if you kill 20 people or if you help 2000 people in your lifetime there's no heaven or hell for you. The money WASTED on going to church like wasting gas or paying taxes to make churches is a loss to everyone church is completely pointless and wastes time. Are solar system is a never ending world no species could look over us. So if you beleive in god your wasting your time that you devote to him and tell me why people beleive in god because if god was real the good people would never die god wouldn't let that and wars and killings wouldn't happend with god so god is fake and why do you beleive in him.

I just moved to the US (about 8 months) and have had some problem adapting. Though, I can quite easily communicate in english; my inherently-different lingo/accent/sense of humor, to an extent my shyness and the confusing (to me, of course) body language of most americans here have made me unusually confused abt how to behave (besides I live in the politically-correct Mass, so the growing paranoia of wot to say looms large). Though I was pretty outgoing back home, I have become painfully shy here. Kinda confuses me...any tips on how to get used to a new place and come over your own shyness...I have to spend a few years here before I get a chance to go back (I am in one of those require-long-training-n-
experience fields: Neurology) and I dont wanna spend the rest of these years as a tourist (hope ppl will understand wot i mean)....I dont think I can call myself an immigrant and I'm a perfectly legal temporary resident...and yeah, dont really believe that every1 is a racist here

Just a random question that just popped into my head. I know that Christianity is against cloning and I myself am against it, but doesn't it show cloning as happening in the Bible and it was not considered a negative act because it was the creation of man and woman? So being that it wasn't a negative act doesn't it really make it ok if you are going by the Bible?
