Ok, I opened a can of worms.
To oneakmusic - never said anything about anybody stop spending money because it says GOD on it.
You really need to take a chill pill you seem way to stressed over my ques, a lot of people do, IT'S JUST A QUESTION.

jd - there is freedom of religion in America but as "stephanie s" said the 'In God We Trust:on it is HISTORICAL, afterallour founding fathers was 'supposedly' religious.

doug b - Ibet 90% of all $1 bills have been in a strippers thong, and I know I've handled quite a few. so what!

suzany 13 - yeah creepy

I'm not against anybody, I was just asking a question because they are taking God out of schools and court rooms. In schools I see nothing wrong with a moment of silence.

I couldn't care less if it's on the money. It's historical I think. Also, the majority of the country does believe in some sort of God. I don't believe in God, but I don't care the word "God" is written on my money. All of our money has masonic symbols all over it as well. Our country was founded by free masons and upon masonic principles. I assume most of us are not free masons, but we don't necessarily care about this symbolism anymore, and no one protests against it... at least I haven't heard of anyone protesting against it.

They already want In God we Trust off the money. They don't mind carrying it or sitting on it either lol. I can not understand how the minority can rule for the majority. Christians will someday need to rise up and make their voice heard too. I know that is not the way we are supposed to be but it is the way we are being pushed to be. This is sad. I also know there is another great tribulation period coming and sometimes wonder if we are not at the beginning of it.

So are you saying only people who believe in god should be the only ones granted with money? Its not like they have a choice, they're not the ones making the money and deciding whats on it. And to all the religous bashers, why the hell do you care!?!?! Are you that crazy about a word. If you dont believe in god, the word god shouldnt harm you. If you let the word god harm you, obviously you're showing that you believe. There. we all are wrong and right in a way. Can we make peace now?

So are u saying we should stop spending money because it says the word GOD on it?

saying the word GOD, and fighting wars over what people actually believe to BE god are two very different things.

You inability to see that only proves that you're just not thinking for yourself.

This may be the dumbest argument I have ever heard.

I don't follow a religion, I don't care about whether god exists and I don't believe jesus something to base your life on, and I don't care whether a dollar bill says "in god we trust" anymore than if it were to say "this has been in many strippers thongs"

Faith (trust) in the dollar, is one of the many blessings that people take for granted. It can also be a curse. This country is older than the dollar.

Actually, we aren't happy with it.

We just don't bring it up often because it would be such a huge endeavor. The religious would fight it tooth and nail, insist that we're nuts for wanting it gone, and it would cost too much.

We choose our battles wisely. (Ok, most of the time...)

In case you haven't noticed, everyone who is not Christian is forced to acquiesce to Christianity. There is no such thing as freedom of religion in the U.S.
