Yes.

“Among these Jews there suddenly turns up a man who goes about talking as if He was God. He claims to forgive sins. He says He has always existed. He says He is coming to judge the world at the end of time….I am trying here to prevent anyone saying the really foolish thing that people often say about Him: ‘I’m ready to accept Jesus as a great moral teacher, but I don’t accept His claim to be God.’ That is the one thing we must not say. A man who was merely a man and said the sort of things Jesus said would not be a great moral teacher. He would either be a lunatic—on a level with a man who says he is a poached egg—or else he would be the Devil of Hell. You must make your choice. Either this man was, and is, the Son of God: or else a madman or something worse. You can shut Him up for a fool, you can spit at Him and kill Him as a demon; or you can fall at His feet and call Him Lord and God…”

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God! John chapter I verse 1.

There are other verses that say Jesus is God! But it takes faith to believe that Jesus is indeed God!

I think he was a human being much like anyone else. After all, he used to eat, sleep and go to the loo and I certainly wouldn't put that as being connected to God. Kinda ruins the whole intellectual view of God as a spiritual creature rather than humanised like so many people seem to need in order to try to understand that which they can't grasp or shouldn't be able to grasp in the first place.

i do believe that jesus never said that he was god, nor did he say that he was king of the jews, yet somehow he got killed for it. so tell me, if you lived 1967 years ago, would you be the high priest to sentence him to death??? jesus is the son of god, he became man thus making him no more powerful than me or you, and he gave his life for you. so all you think to do is critize him like kihafas (the highest priest in the land at the time)?

Isaa Son of Mary'am was a mortal prophet just like Ibrahim (Abraham), Mu'sa(Moses),David(Da'ud), Solomon(Sulaiman), Nuuh(Noah), and Mohammad (Peace and God's Blessings Be Upon them ALL).
He was not crucified. Allah had called him back before the the crucifixion has he had called upon Him for mercy. And indeed Isaa will return on the Day of Judgement.
