Government tells us to have at least 3 weeks of rations stored in case of disaster. I am curious if you do and what you have?

No I don't. I was just thinking today that I should do that, esp. with the situation getting worse in the middle east. I am going to get water jugs, canned food, and dog food.

Well I always have things stocked up around my home. Not because of the government or anyone else, but because I stock up when things go on sale. I am a bargain shopper, I would probably be safe for 3mths. I stock up on water, juices, pop, can goods, dry foods. I also have a stand up freezer filled with meats and other frozen goods. I also stock up on toilet paper, toothpastes, deodorants and everything else that I use on a regular basis. I never seem to have enough batteries though.

Well, no, because basically, if it becomes so bad that I need to go underground and live off Spam and stale water, I will take my chances. I can only think of one reason to do that, and that would be a Nuclear bomb, and if it does go off, it will not matter if you stockpile stuff or not. with N. Korea launching missiles, 2/3's of Russia's missiles unaccounted for, Iran developing the technology you can bet the next 10 to 15 years will be scary indeed.

I have about 2 weeks of water and lots of canned stuff. Not really organized but I could pull it altogether out of the cabinet.

I also keep the gas tank at least 3/4s full just incase its time to split.

We live in earthquake country; we have water, canned food, stuff like that. Our Rx and OTC meds in a three week supply, and plans on how to handle the crisis. Can't depend on anyone!

That's because the government wants us to live in fear. They think it keeps them powerful.

No, I don't, at least not intentionally. I have a lot stocked up, but that's not why. I just stock up when something's on sale.

No most people just have guns, then if something happens they can just take what they need from the guy that stored up that stuff

Nope, Keeping enough food in the house for one week is difficult enough. I always wished I could do that though.

I have a stocked pantry, but if there was a disaster, I'd be hurting for batteries.
