I live near Corpus Christi, TX and cannot find any kind of gay support group at all. I've looked online to no avail. I would like to get out and absorb some of the "culture" and get a chance to know and talk to people about their struggles before they came out. Thanks guys!

Don't feel alone...I would suggest in looking in the phone book, kind of like looking up the number to AA even though you may not be an alcholic there should be another hotline in the phone book that can give you a number to call and find meeting places, also If you find a AA in your area and you can call that number they keep different panthlets available for all sorts of things.
I know this because my dad is gay....and it took him a while to find a support group...

Look for a gay lesbian center. Network with them. Maybe try the Austin Metro area. There is probably a gay lesbian community center there. Call them ask where one around you might be. Or commute to Austin once a week.
Also, try looking and posting in craigslist.org. Do it in a few metro areas around you.

I can't help you in corpus christi tx..but there is a site called 'gayway' in Vancouver,BC.Canada...and I'll bet they'll be able to redirect you to somewhere closer to home for you. Give it a try.

you will have to do some travling to some gay friendly areas of your state. take a trip to California and absorb as much as you can

you might be able to find some store that sale rainbow items, ask them if they ahve any idea.
