I have many gay and lesbian friends and at times it seems to me like they get treated with more respect than I do if I am out en fem.And no I am not going out hitting on men or looking for any kind of trouble,just going about my business wearing clothes I am comfortable in.But that doesnt stop the small minded idiots from doing everything from calling me obscene names to spitting on me.Sorry if I am rambling on but I have to get this off my chest before I explode.

i need to buy a couple of nice sets of tarot cards to give to a friend. she is really into the stuff and the bookstore variety just won't do.

does anyone know of some cool magic shops or whatever where i can pick up a couple of nice deck of tarot cards in the san francisco, oakland, or berkeley area? actually, just about anywhere near the bay area will do. have car and will travel.

if there is a nice website where i can buy my tarot cards, then please enlighten me. it will also be very appreciated.

when you're home throughout the day, do you lock your doors? Or are you like me and leave them unlocked? When you run to the store do you lock your doors? Or are you like me and leave them unlocked, leaving the housekeys on the counter. When you go to bed at night, do you sometimes forget to lock the door, but then think "oh well I feel safe". And leave them unlocked? That's how safe I feel in the small town I live in, in Alberta. So, how do you feel and where are you from?

Creationism is a faith based theory, if we took it as scientific fact would this undermine the whole system of scientific exploration of challenging existing theories to validate themselves through continued research and experimentation? This really upsets me. Why do spouses or significant others (some) only want you to be aroung married friends or gay people. They say they trust you, but if you are not allowed to be around single people or people of the opposite sex, I believe that is just insecurity and hypocrisy. If your mate has never given you any inclination whatsoever of cheating, what makes this right or just proper? I think it sucks. You lose your innocent freedom just to feel good and not argue about what you want to do. That is just so unfair, but maybe I am just selfish?

Hey y'all! Okay, I work at a sports bar with this guy. We are both 20 and he is the sweetest guy I have ever met and he is so kind and caring. We have an insane connection but the only problem is we don't speak the same language. He speaks Spanish and I speak English but I speak a little bit of Spanish. We try to communicate as much as possible. He is also currently learning English and I Spanish. When I walk into work and we see eachother he makes eye contact and our eyes just lock for longer than a few seconds. He smiles and jokes a lot and is always helping me. Could he possibly be interested and if so should I pursue him or just move on?? My friends think I should go for it and my family on the other hand thinks I'm being silly and unreasonable. It's weird cause I connect better with him than I do with most guys that speak English :) I know the reasonable thing to do is move on, but the connection is hard to move past. Any suggestions?
