Marketing genius they don't just sell coffee they sell an experience an image. People say they hate it and they should it's snobby, uppity and overpriced. What it did was let Jane Doe housewife with three kids and an unemployed husband feel like Bette Midler while she shopped. Uncultured Bubba Jones can impress the ladies with his caffe latte and the fact he knows the lingo. Suddenly the morning paper is Wall street in obscure USA cause somewhere some city snob is partaking. They started the fad and are surviving the imposters and wannabees. It's a good stock buy low sell high. I think it's a good cup of coffee.

I can not for the life of me understand people who drinks Starbucks coffee. It is the most expensive and yet the worst tasting coffe out there. It is always too dark and tastes rancid. Tim Horton's has the best coffee

I am a true coffee drinker, and the only thing I ever order there is the espresso. The stronger, the better. All those other fancy flavors don't appeal to me. I think people who put milk in their coffee don't really like coffee. If they did, why mask the bitter taste.

I think I will never learn Starbuckese. No matter how many time I go, I always order a large double mocha and let them translate it to their gibberish. I speak a little Italian and I have never ordered a 'venti' anything in Italy. Even spell check doesn't recognize it, and they just made 'Googling' a verb

I don't really like much they have to offer. I do not understand the big thrill or trend. It is like a social status to have that cup in your hand.
