i really believe this. even if i disagree 100% with the other side of an argument.

i've just had a 'heated debate' with my friend, who says that when people believe something just cos they read it somewhere/saw it somewhere/or were told 2nd hand then they don't have the right to argue the case because they're not informed enough. so basically, people shouldn't really have the right to express these opinons.

i think she also has the right to her opinion, but that she's wrong! she thinks i'm too wishy-washy!

we agreed to hand the decision over to you guys...and we'll accept your answer to our argument! what do you reckon?!

Previous points made - If you don't believe in prayer, how can you be upset over something you believe doesn't exist? If you take offense and reject my prayers by saying I'm doing something to you against your will, can you prove I have affected you? If you, as one prev. answer said, paint my barn a hideous color, you have materially affected me. If the object of my prayer is to bring good things to you, why are you mad, especially since I have done nothing to materially affect you? If you burn a Bible in my name, as one prev. answer said, that does not bother me because I had nothing to do with it and you cannot act in my name.
New points to make - If you are sick (say cancer) and wish to live and I pray you'll be healed, why would you take offense. If I pray you'll be blessed (receive benefits that will make you happy), why should this offend you? I do not pray from a position of moral (or any other kind of authority except the authority to pray) and only wish good things for you.

At first in the morning we (normal ppl) mock the religions.
Ppl gets aggravate and wakes up. At the same time we just show them that they must stay calm according to their own Jesus teaching. Than we take some break for work.
At lunch we are going to have musical period when Christians start dancing to interconnect the galaxies to support contradictions in the bible. And as any1 can see that all of Christian answers are different and realize all of them can’t be right.
Than is break time for work.

My friend who graduated with me from high school just embraced Islam, Some people think that Islam is spread by sword, then why did all these people (especially white) convert to Islam if teaches terrorism and is very evil as some people think?

I personally feel that terrorists are not human but they are devil. They don't believe in any religion and they don't work for God. They are killing thousand of innocents. So they are killer, devil. I'm christian but sometimes I'm ashamed of what I see When Christains on her Blogging the Hell out people for asking simple questions. Serious question. I've seen a lot of posts just there to spew hate, spit out nasty slander, and throw stones at individuals or groups.

How can we improve the level of dialog in this forum and help to eliminate the childish and foolish comments/questions that are posted?

(I'm not talking about people who disagree with questions. I'm talking about the idiotic responses and posts that seem to be posted on a regular basis.)

i mean not to be insulting or anything, my opinion is that you would have more benefits on a religion..
for instance, lets say that all beliefs are bunch BS and when people die, they just vanish, well i guess people would have wasted their sunday morning on some dumb stuff..

I have often heard from many believers that even Satan has a presence in the church, which is why even in church people can still have impure thoughts. If Satan can find his way in the church, how do Christians know that Satan didn't find his way into the Bible and twist the whole book? After all, men did vote on which books would make the Holy Bible.

peoples and others in the past, on the strength of the struggles of your ancestors as a minority, WHY would you mate with them and be in relationships with them now? I'm not against forming friendships, nor do I consider myself racist. But, even in the Bible, certain peoples were seperated due to the misdeeds of their ancestors. Now we live in Liberal land, and no one is allowed to say how they really feel. That's just the way it is. Just to know my great, great, great grandmother may had been beaten and raped by a white man is enough to repulse me. Do you not think their superiority complex is not passed down to their future generations?
