last night i asked a question in religion & spirituality and it was not more than 10 min. before i got a violation. i used no foul language and offended no one. so why would they violate me when i see people using racist and highly offensive remarks in the same category and they are still there?? it makes me so mad i could just spit.

"O ye who believe! Ask not questions about things which if made plain to you, may cause you trouble. Some people before you did ask such questions, and on that account lost their faith." (Surah 5:101-102).

"The Holy Prophet himself forbade people to ask questions ...so do not try to probe into such things." (The Meaning of the Qur'an, Maududi, vol. III, pgs. 76-77)

"The prophet was asked about things which he did not like, and when the questioner insisted, the Prophet got angry. (vol. 1, no. 92) The Prophet got angry and his cheeks or his face became red. (vol. 1, no. 91)

"Allah has hated you...[for] asking too many questions." (vol. 2, no. 555; and vol. 3, no. 591, Bukhari's Hadith commenting on Muhammad’s reaction to hostile questioners.)

I keep playing Call of duty... and i just do it because it's fun, and exciting to try and get someone and then be able to get away and not be hit.. and it's just fun to build skills. But i never think about hitting anyone or killing. Same with my cousin, he likes to oplay it alot.. but doesn't do any violence toward others. So, people who get violent because of violent video games are just DIfferent?

This is the second time they have left it in the garage to whine at the top of it's lungs ALL DAY. Granted, it is only one or two days a week, but it is ALL DAY. I can hear it all the way in my house, and I even have the TV turned up to try to drown it out. I know I can't shoot it, although I really really want to at this point. I hate confrontation, because I end up yelling irrational things. How can I gracefully handle this situation?

Are they just looking for attention and does anyone from yahoo even monitor some of the questions and responses? This is a great tool and you can tell how many people are bored to death.

Should I just let her be Christian (like most of my family) or should I give her more of my personal views? I feel that it should be a personal experience for everyone, but will find it hard not to bring my own views into the picture. Any advice on how to just let her go at it herself?

to call people who are overweight "fat" if they are that way because they are simply lazy and have poor eating habits? I'm sick of people being defensive about it and defending fat people with the "it's the genes" or "it's a medical problem" crap. Their genes don't make them go to McDonalds and get the supersize meal everyday.

When one has lost the ability to believe in themselves it is a stablizer to rely on God-when one has found that they can not live with their actions it is a comfort to know Jesus Loves You-when the world is in turmoil and one does not know how to cope it is easier to rely on an image of love that is provided in a God that will nurish you-God in the form of a Savior is a remedy of sorts 4 those that are lost and without hope-How do you explain to a lil 3 yo child that there is no god and the disease that is killing them is just a bad thing? U can't so you appease it because worry makes it worse-Life is cruel in that way but then so are those that use religion to try to control and convert by manipulating the followers. So I agree with your analysis-about causing problems but ask yourself as well-how many problems does it avert? Animals do not pray or bow down unless trained to do so-EITHER DO MEN-and when you hold a gun to their head called The Bible they conform-but Love works wonders!

Does the Silmarillion's explanation of death as a great gift from Illuvatar make more sense than the ordinary Christian understanding of death as punishment for sin?

In a crucifixion, the Romans typically used iron nails, five to seven inches long and about three eighths of an inch square, driven into the victim's wrists and feet to fasten him to the wooden members.

Are Christians hypocrites for using Windows considering Bill Gates is an atheist? According to the Bible, an atheist is a corrupt fool that never does any good.

Psalms 14: 1
The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.
