Not all the time....I feel most appreciated when he does the little things that he thinks don't matter....
dishes,kisses goodbye,a phone call from work for no reason,an unplanned date.

I feel appreciated in my home, by my family (both immediate and extended), and by myself!
I feel appreciated when I see my daughter mimic some of the things that I do, when she comes to me for advice, when she shares her thoughts and feelings with me.
I feel appreciated by my boyfriend because of all of the little things that he does for me. He wakes up early (when he is home) to take the dog out, and then he gives me breakfast in bed. If he has to work, he makes the coffee in the morning. He helps with the dishes, with meals, and with cleaning. Also, he tells me that he appreciates me.
My family and I keep in touch a lot. Sometimes I know that they just want to be heard and understood, and when they feel better afterward, I know that they appreciated me for being there.
Above all, I appreciate myself for what I have done and what I am capable of doing.

No, everytime I'm around men they have to make these remarks about fat people on TV and they expect all women to be skinny and pretty. I would feel appreciate if men would keep their mouths shut.

In general I don't feel very appreciated. I was definitely not appreciated by my soon to be ex husband.
I find JOE's answer above to be almost completely ignorant.... what countries have YOU been to JOE that you know american women are appreciated the best here. I do know here we are appreciated for sex if we display our "rack" or our "***"ets or our legs. Wow how lucky I am for that appreciation. :P
And to answer your question on how to appreciate me, how about respect and honor me. Don't belittle me. If you do that and the woman doesn't love you epically then you should find a new one because I think that's all it REALLY takes.

I'd just like to say that women have more freedom and opportunity in the USA than anywhere else in the world. For any American woman that doesn't believe that, please make arrangements to leave this country and move to where you think you'll have it better.
