last night i asked a question in religion & spirituality and it was not more than 10 min. before i got a violation. i used no foul language and offended no one. so why would they violate me when i see people using racist and highly offensive remarks in the same category and they are still there?? it makes me so mad i could just spit.

I enjoy your questions. They are usually insightful, on topic, and polite. For what reason did your get a violation? I wish you had posted a link to the question that you asked. Can you add it in comments and ask this again? Maybe we can guess at a possible reason.

I understand exactly what you mean. I received a violation to a question that I answered however the person that asked the question should have been reported because it was an offensive question so I thought I could shed some light on the matter so it would not turn into a racist debate but I got a violation for it. And another thing, I made friends with a lady on here and she asked legitamite questions however she notified me that she was booted entirely from yahoo answers. I feel that was wrong. But I did not set the guidelines. The only thing that we can do, is do our best at answering questions and try not to put a bad word or something in it that might cause a violation.

What was your question?

Yeah qwert is just trying to get a rise out of Julia. Julia has an opinion and some people pick on her and are quite rude and vulgar about it.

Yea, this place is filled with ignorants who have nothing better to do than to go insulting others for their beliefs. The question you asked might have stated something they don't agree with, so as any ignorant person would do, they reported you. The sad thing is- it was probably an ADULT who reported you.

Dude when ever you delve into religion or politics you are always treading on unsteady ground. Especially right now in America we're going through turbulent times. Ya know.

Who knows? people violate for content as well as for coming right out and being abrasive. The person who reported you may have misinterpreted what you were trying to ask.

It's probably because your questions hit close to home and it scares them. Or they are just cruel. Go ahead and keep asking your questions. Maybe you'll get the answers you need.

If it was not vulgar or offensive, I didn't report you. Why don't you email me the question, and I'll see if I can answer it for you?
