If you think you are then are you born again? John 3:3-7 clearly states that "You must be born again" if so then how about the other "faith" do you think they are doomed to eternal damnation if they dont become born again?

We live in a neighborhood who is filled mainly with teenage kids. I have a 7 year old son and all of my sons friends from school live in another houseing track.

We dont usually have friends from school come over because my kids are involved in sports and we dont usually have the time, therefore I dont know how to reach them.

The kid next door is my sons age and the only one around during summer. My son always wants to play with him, but I try to limit it.

The kid is rude to me, if I ask him something he ignores it- like I never said anything. If I tell them they cant play with a certain toy or game, he does it anyway. I feel like I am talking to a wall. The other day I asked if he would like to stay for dinner. I asked him about 3 times, before my husband stepped in and asked him.

I think the kid is just rude, but my husband said that this is typical of hispanic cultures- that the men do not have to respond or give respect to women. Is that true? How should I handle it?

Since some theists like to say "I hope you find god someday", shouldn't we wish them luck in seeing the error of their ways?

Why does he give me bizarre, irrelevant answers to my questions in the Marriage section, beauty, health, fitness and female health issues. He even recommended a birth control pill brand. What the heck? Does he think that I'll break down and give him the best answer?

Today it was reported that a leaflet has been circulated throughout Israel in regards to World Pride 2006. It reads "Death to Sodomites" and encourages the murder of gays and also shows how to make molotov cocktails to throw at participants. Orthodox Jews appear to be responsible. How should we react? Should we not only condemn this provocation but also immidiately boycott all Israeli products and travel? What should mainstream Israelis do or say? I would like to hear from Jews both in and out of Israel. This is a serious concern especially given the treatment of Jews by others both in the past and currently. You would think they (meaning those who approve of this) would know better. It was not only Jews in camps.

Okay let’s see… You have the most votes in the House and Senate (but wait till mid-terms!), The Supreme Court is weakening on some of the strongest God vs. Government issues, You have your own news channel (Fox News) and your own TV station ( I am still not getting the purple haired lady), Your on the ground leaders don’t pay taxes. And you believe that now matter what happens here you can receive a “get out of hell free card” by repenting and blah, blah, blah. So why all the anger?

"Arguments we think creationists should NOT use"

in which creationists are advised against using many of the common creationist arguments which have been proved false.

http://www.answersingenesis.org/home/area/faq/dont_use.asp

Funny thing is, these are the same arguments we see on Yahoo Answers every day from creationists. How many times have I heard the "Darwin recanted on his deathbed" line ?

...calling for the assassination of someone he hates?

The recent miami group of christian terrorists (they were NOT Muslims; they studied the bible, etc) were arrested simply for WANTING to murder, but had not taken any actions or even have an actual plan.

So, what is the difference between this and Pat Robertson calling for assassination of a world leader? Is it okay because we don't like who he wanted killed -Venezuelan Pres. Hugo Chavez?

George W Bush didn't call on an assassination of Saddam - that would've been illegal & immoral. "Bringing him to justice" means a trial with evidence & sentencing, not "street justice" & murder.

So, why isn't Pat Robertsons desires treated like the boys from miami? Why doesn't the government send someone undercover to entice and entrap Mr. Robertson? What of women with abusers stalking them? Men can't be arrested unless they DO something.

So, what do you think - should Mr. Robertson be arrested on terrorism charges or not? Why or why not? Thx!

I am in a heated debate with the wife, because i want to get tiki statues for our Tiki decorated back yard, we have a bamboo gazebo, tiki bar, tiki bamboo fire bowl, furniture, ...... you get the point. She says that getting a tiki character(statue), is portraying a false god, and that it is VERY un-christian. From a Christian religion stand point is it wrong to get tiki statues, becuase that is praising a "False God" or Different God" other than Jesus Christ. Please give me details so i can justify to her why it is ok, or so that i can understand why it's not!

Do people still believe in the Big Bang theory? If so, where did the matter for the big bang come from? Where did the smallest particles of matter come from? It seems like a non-matter, anti-matter being must have created matter for it to exist in the first place. What are your thoughts about this?

It never ceases to amaze me that we are told to be "open minded", given labels and yet lifestyles and agendas are being forced upon us. Our children are being taught in the Public school sector "tolerance" to left wing propaganda and are not being taught religion. I am not refering to doctrine, I am specifically addressing religion. If the liberal can advance his/her agenda why should Christians, Buddists, Muslims, Satanists etc. be denied an equal opportunity?
