Piltdown Man - A deliberate hoax. Ended up being a ape jaw attached to a human skull that was stained to look old.

Java Man - The discover later rejected it stating that a human & ape were just found in proximity.

Pekeing Man - Tools & human bones were found near the apes whose brains they were eating (monkey brains are still eaten in China).

Nebraska Man - An entire person (and family) was envisioned from a single tooth... a tooth that later proved to have come from a pig.

Lucy - Reclassified as an extinct ape.

Ramapithecus - A jaw & teeth were eventually dismissed as early human in origin (an Orangutan).

Noah brought from each animal two on his Ark, and after the flood all the animals were perished. I remember reading that in some book.

What did the carnivores eat after they left the Ark?
Do plants survive floods? What did the herbivores eat then?

But more important: how to drown a fish ?

Okay, so I hear a lot of black people get offended by the term "black" and say they prefere the term "African American." Well, say there is a "black" guy, of whom people refere to him as African American, but he is Austrailian, neither American or African! Also, doesn't that phrase assume that all black people come from Africa, ignoring the native blacks from Haiti, Jamaica, Austrailia, and other places completely unrelated to Africa? Also, it assumes that all people from Africa are black, but there are plenty of white people from Africa who have said citizenship. (Dave Matthews Band.) Citezenship is another issue, as most black who live in America have no African citizenship, or haven't even been there. All in all, the phrase is completely busted. If you are offended by it, then you are ignorant. I am a white male, and I have yet to hear any black person refere to me as a German-American. Usually it is cracker or honky anyways.

What are your thoughts?

Did you need to shun your family? Did they tell you Jesus was just a man ? What else can you share. I've found them to be diabolical.

Do you believe in Adam and Eve? If so, Adam and Eve were human, right...so do you believe Adam and Eve evolved from apes?

Or is this where the distinction between those who believe in evolution and those who do not begin?

If you don't believe in Adam and Eve, then I can possibly understand why you believe in evolution.

We know Christ came to establish His church. We know he set up its heirarchy. We know the apostles ordained men to succeed them. We know Christ told his church leaders "Whose sins you forgive are forgiven them, and whose sins you retain are retained."

How does a non-catholic know which of his sins the church has forgiven and which they have retained?

I have had occurances that I hope someone can explain. It happens anytime I will be asleep or taking a nap, and I feel like am getting ready to wake up when I feel a presence holding me down. I can't see any1 but I feel the presence on my body holding me down. 1 time the presence was carresing my inner thighs while what seemed like 4 hands held my limbs down. Most violent of them all was when my husband and I spent our 1st night together (b4 marriage) and the presence came early in the morning. I felt hands holding my upper arms down and a feeling like a heavy body on top of me so heavy I had trouble breathing. I reached my hand under my husbands (then fiance) head and began to scratch and pull his hair and I tried to scream "please help me" but I struggled to get the words out. He awoke to me pulling his hair. When I fully woke I had 4 bruises on my arms like fingers holding me down. What was this? This has happend about 20 Xs. Am i crazy? HELP? most recent this morning

If Society accepts Gays and Lesbians for their so called "sexual orientation" which we assume natural, even though undesirable, why don't we accept Robbers, Murderers, Rapists,Killers etc for their "psychological orientation" since they are all called "orientations"? I expect sincere and sensible answers.

Name one event similar to the christians crusades, inquistion and salem witch trials that inovolved atheists doing the persecuting. And no, Stalin and Mao Tse Tung don't count. The crusades, inquistion and salem witch trials were all justified using there religion, and contrary to the lies of christians trying to make atheists look bad, Stalin and Mao Tse Tung didnt justify their actions in the name of Atheism but as part of a political agenda. So explain to my audience an event where atheists had a huge persecution event like the christians had.

Why can't you believe the hundreds of Muslims on this site and elsewhere that Islam is a peaceful religion and we CONDEMN terrorism. Have you heard any Muslim say wer support terrorism and it's allowed in Islam? No! Because that is not what Islam is. People say "well if Islam doesn't condone it, why doesn't leaders come out and say they don't." Well, if hundreds and thousands of Muslims keep telling you Islam doesn't, why isn't that enough proof for you? You've never heard a Muslim say "we support the acts of 9/11 and suicide bombers." And you never will because we do not.

These terrorists who are going out there and acting in the name of Islam are not Muslim at heart and do not follow the teachings of Quran. They are like every other ignorant person out there, trying to defame Islam.

I asked the question earlier " why do Christians think I am so lost". I am an Athiest and so I do not want to be saved. Most people answered that I am going to hell if I don't believe (or something to that effect). Isn't that up to God. Doesn't the bible say that God is the only one who can make that judgement? And that noone eles should judge. So by telling me I am going to hell aren't you going aginst what God says?

If you were born a Muslim, and those who have exagerated beliefs about prophet Jesus, come bomb your homes, rape your women, burn your villages, call you terrorists, place puppet governments over you? Wait a minute, isn't that how every body first became Christian? So why isn't it working with Muslims? Maybe they have some thing better. You should look more into it instead of being offended and told what to believe w/ a collar around your neck.

Does anyone find that offensive?
