If you were born a Muslim, and those who have exagerated beliefs about prophet Jesus, come bomb your homes, rape your women, burn your villages, call you terrorists, place puppet governments over you? Wait a minute, isn't that how every body first became Christian? So why isn't it working with Muslims? Maybe they have some thing better. You should look more into it instead of being offended and told what to believe w/ a collar around your neck.

First, you seem to have a closed mind about what you are asking, take into consideration that all religions are forced in some way or another. The Muslim are not necessarily being told that they have to become Christian. Many of them do believe that Jesus existed as an amazing prophet, though I doubt they harbor any ill will against Christians. Whether they have something better is up to you. If you agree with their outlook, then maybe they do have something better, if you are simply trying to provoke someone into an argument about religion, give up. Your question is about religionANDpolitics. Those are big no no's in conversation and get absolutely nowhere.

*sigh*

It's interesting that you believe this is the Christian's doing. It also seems like you're saying that muslims are being targeted.

Guess what? I'm from the Philippines. The United States also burned our villages, raped many of our women, and committed mass genocide! This isn't because they were Christians, it's because of money and power! They wanted to control trade with Asia through the Philippines. That's what happened after the Spanish-American War.

Oh, and they still call many of us "Terrorists". Don't blame Christianity. It's people you should point out.

1. Please read you history, both world history, and history of Christian missionaries. Start with the book SILENCE.

2. Please read the new and well informed sites/books about what is going on in the Middle East. America has instituted polices that DO NOT benefit Christians who live there.

3. If you understood Christianity (especially historical Christianity) you would understand that what American is doing in the Middle East HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH CHRISTIANITY! We are there because Muslims couldn't control their own nut-jobs who seek to kill non-Muslims.

4. Our military soldiers are not allowed to wear crosses or other signifying religious items while on duty outside their barracks. They are not spreading Christianity (unless you think that being kind and helpful to people who are not of your faith is solely a Christian trait).

5. Raping your women? Please. Do you honestly think that if that was true it would not be in our media 24/7 given how much they hate the military? Besides, Islamic law requires that the raped woman be killed (honor killing).

I guess like all religions everyone has a right to believe in what they want, even if their religion has done awful things in God's name. I've often pondered this subject myself and wondered why so much blood was shed in Christ's name. I'm not christian nor do I care to be, but I do respect their beliefs even though most of them put mine down.

Touch and go that question... to hot may get burned!

I mean it's not a nice question!

Sorry i see your point... but you need to keep reading your history books... maybe the history of how people now exist/existed in your country! I.e england... vikings did the same... so did he normans... so did the romans... and the crusaders played there part...!

its not a matter of how it is done, rather a matter of what you are gaining by converting. By converting you are being offered miracles, a life with someone who loves you forever ( God ) and gifts granted to you by Him. If you are offended then you are being given a false taste of what Christianity really is. What an eternal companion who never lets you down could be... someone who died for YOU. Loves you.
