Amazing how some people confuse belief and knowing.
For me the key to this is asking who 'we' are. We could, like some ,settle on a belief ,and spend our lives trying to convince others that we're right . Or.. we can look for ourselves , check out the ideas around , and go further .
First one needs to be able to see from different perspectives, loosen up the mind so that it's more open to touch whatever is behind our thoughts. There are various practices ,sitting meditation, tai chi, yoga, all move awareness away from thought ,and allow a little light in.
By then you should be able to listen to your own intuition, and find some good people to practice with or challenge your remaining assumptions.
Then you may have some idea ,knowing more about yourself ,what may happen, but knowing is of the brain, which is limited ,and rots at death.
Prehaps there is some basis of awareness, outside of the physical, in which case, why wait til you die to realise it ?

I don't know what u mean by a parallel world.
Ppl of different religions have been taught different ideas.
Nobody has any real proof.
Personally, I don't know. Buddhist teaching is that ppl are reborn in good/bad situations according to their volitional actions in this life. Can be in any place life exists. Edgar Caycee books give a lot of details on ppl born again and again. Many were paying for their actions of previous lives.

I believe in reincarnation and that for a short time your soul visits the Summerlands which is supposedly a great place, you remain here until another body is concieved and ready for you to inhabit.
While this is what i believe for most people, very bad people who have ruined their current lives (therefore destroying their soul) by committing horrible crimes would be refused this fate and their souls will roam the universe forever with no purpose or substance.

Not really. There is a kind of parallel entity, which moves and works in mysterious ways.

yes i do, not an exact replica, and not made of the same matter as this existence. on a different vibration where we communicate through thought and manifest what we require through thought. i feel we are reborn into one of many parallel existences.

I'd like to think we go somewhere where all the people we love and like to have around are, whether they've diesd or not-as in the spirits of the living go to this place to play, like a representation of us...it'd be nice

When you die you take a dirt nap until Jesus comes again. That is why you have a resurrection at the second coming of Jesus Christ.

We will go to Heaven if our name is written in the Lamb's Book of Life. To Hell if it is not in the Lamb's Book of Life.
