He may be great. He may be omnipotent. He may even care for your destiny. But what do you think he has on the recorder when he has to step out of the creation factory for some air?

I mean he did create the world in 6 days and on the 7th he took a break after all.

Also, please tell me how many of you believe god doesn't have a sense of humor? I'm sure the lead question has some of you upset and I'm gonna hear about it no doubt.

I am about to audition for a reality tv show called "Endurance 5", well the auditions are April 2007, but I want to be prepared. Have you heard of the "Endurance" series?? If yes, is it good?? But the real question I am after is what are some good tips when it comes to composing a 5 minute audition video?? Your help is much appreciated!!

Leviticus is the book of the bible most used to condemn homosexuality. It also contains a story of a guy burning his daughter to win favor from God. That's sick! Moses also teaches us in leviticus that we should burn animals after female periods and male discharges. This was done because God like the smell of burning flesh and would cleanse or bless or whatever. I know this is old testament but, do you believe this was true then? Why do we believe in this book?
I don't think that gods inseminate girls (while they are hanging out with there boyfriends) or that burning people, beating slaves, making virgin girls marry and have sex against their will is right!? Do you? It's all biblical! And it's all ...messed up!
Lets not condemn good people for being who they are just because someone wrote it in this book. Good, American citizens (Gays and Lesbians) deserve every right that the rest of us have. Including marriage. I welcome your thoughts.

i know allot of you out there have heard of "if a tree falls in the middle of the forest, & no one is around to hear it, does it still make a sound?"
well, truth be told, a tree falling (on its own/act of nature) & no one is around,NOBODY CARES!
so lets "modernise" it shall we?

"if an alarm goes of in a bedroom, & no one is awake to hear it, did it still go off?"

i noticed that christians always initiate the violent questions here and some of the replys they make towards muslims are mostly degrading, hearsays,full of remorse, but these muslims don't fight back violently...... Are we, as having a personal relationship with Jesus, following his teachings? Maybe some of us have lost a loved one out there in Iraq so we behaved irrationaly, but it does not justify our anger displaced towards all the other muslims. Will it be correct that all christians be tried as was criminals because Hiltler was a " christian"?......... Although i can't read arabic , i can't tell if the sentiments of those angry Iraqis are the same as what we lashed out scornfully.

When people ask questions of Christians, non-christians mockingly answer the way they "think" Christians will, yet, the Christians dont answer that way? Just an example, someone just asked what color/race Jesus was.. non christians answer "white" or "anglosaxon" thinking thats what we believe, but the Christians answered differently.

Why do you think that is?

Bible-thumping heterosexuals everywhere seem to think that homosexuality is a choice. But when these same heterosexuals wake up every morning, they know without a shadow of a doubt that they like the opposite sex. They could never choose to be with the same sex. Just like when homosexuals wake up they know that they cannot be with the opposite sex and when bisexuals wake up they can be with either sex. How can this be a choice?

I am a gay guy and my good friend "Rachelle" whom I've known for over 15 years is engaged to a fine young man I must say. They recently had their first child and bought a new home together. "Rachelle" could not be happier.

But on one of those lonely nights when I decided to rent a few good adult flicks and relax at home I discovered that "Rachelle's" handsome fiancee was in the porn flick perfroming some nasty sex acts with other men. That shocked me! I was laughing, but at the same time I felt horrible for my friend. If I mentioned this to her she would be horrified.

Should I tell my friend "Racelle" or just act as if I never saw it?

I am going to visit China next year with my HS for two weeks. I believe we are going to Shanghai, Beijing, Xian, the Great Wall, and some rural locales. Should I study Mandarin or Cantonese? And how similar are the two languages? If I knew Mandarin and heard somebody speak Cantonese would I be able to understand them, would they be able to understand me?

And What software do you recomend to learn the language?
