i know allot of you out there have heard of "if a tree falls in the middle of the forest, & no one is around to hear it, does it still make a sound?"
well, truth be told, a tree falling (on its own/act of nature) & no one is around,NOBODY CARES!
so lets "modernise" it shall we?

"if an alarm goes of in a bedroom, & no one is awake to hear it, did it still go off?"

what do ya think?

You are darned right, there's no disputing that. The evidence is clear, unequivocal. Nothing could be clearer. It's an open and shut rhetorically correct position to take and I join you enthusiastically. Thank you for sharing.

You are talking about a transmitter and a receiver they work independently . In other words one is not dependent on the other . So the answer to your question is yes! It works for the tree question also!

It goes off. At least until someone turns it off or the alarm gets tired and shuts up. Or until I set it on fire.
