When people ask questions of Christians, non-christians mockingly answer the way they "think" Christians will, yet, the Christians dont answer that way? Just an example, someone just asked what color/race Jesus was.. non christians answer "white" or "anglosaxon" thinking thats what we believe, but the Christians answered differently.

Why do you think that is?

The world wishes to discredit God and his followers by any means. This is not an active conspiracy, but a subconscious desire to justify its own behavior. If you discredit christians by making them out to be uneducated and incompetent, then there's nobody with authority to say that there's a God. Therefore, everything you do is alright, as long as it feels good and doesn't hurt anybody.

Interesting that christians are accused of only listening to people who agree with them, when non-christians do the same thing. Just plug your ears and hum, and the bible thumpers and Jesus freaks will go away.

Maybe they're being sarcastic or they think that's how Christians think. Not really sure. I'm not a Christian I would go with Jesus probably look middle eastern.

I've seen some Christians say some stuff about Atheists and other religions that isn't very nice.

I think that everyone has a differant look on Jesus and thats ok. As long as we believe in him isnt that all that matters? Really if I said he was white what diferance would that make? None really just as I said before as long as we believe. Jesus is every color every belief every langage. So I hope this is a good answer lol.

Two cents from an atheist:

Why do you care?

Can't answer your final question as it hinges on preceding stipulations - which I really have no reason to accept.

As for Jesus...Plenty of literature referring to him...so I suspect the man did exist and managed to rock the boat enough to get himself crucified.

Everything I've read points to Jesus being a Jew. What do Jews look like? Go to Tel Aviv and take a look around. I always think of my old friend Andrew...only with longer hair and less of a Massachusetts accent.

They don't have a clue as to what we Christians believe. They are just spouting off at the mouth, or they are some very poorly informed alleged Christians who just say they are because they believe in God. Satin believed in him to. If these people took the time and prayed to know Jesus, my, oh my, what they would learn. I can say this because I was once one of them several years ago, so I know.

Jesus color since he is the son of God would have to be white while on earth. Consider his raising. Jewish mother in a Jewish community. White always a symbol of purity.
Nothing meant against Black folks,it's only logical when the matter is aired.
We have many super fine black brothers and sisters that we think the world of and they will agree.

Are you asking me to answer according to what I "think" non-Christians motivation might be for answering questions like this one. O.K. Here It goes. I think that non-Christians are probably bored and answering questions without putting a lifetime of research into it because yahoo answers was designed for opinionated answers rather than absolute truth.

*Shrug* turn about is fair play. How many times have you seen Christians say "pagans do this or that" or, better yet "those without religion have no morals".

And maybe the non that answered that really thought Jesus was white?

I think the answer is pretty obvious. They are trying to "demonize" Christians and make them appear racist. We who know the truth, realize it doesn't matter what color the Son of God was, His gift of salvation is available to all who trust in Him regardless of skin color.

That's a VERY, VERY GOOD QUESTION!!!!!!......Because they want to deceive people who are really serious about finding the true and right answer. And to make Christians look like racist, terrorists, bigots, liars, and idiots. I think the Bible says something about deceivers being worse and worse in the latter days...........
