Why is it that you try to push your beliefs on everyone? Do you really think your way is the only way and everyone else will go to hell? If so, there will only be few people in heaven because lots of people follows dieffernt spiritual/religous paths.....Do you think that Jews,Buddhists,Muslims, and people of other faiths are going to "go to hell" because they don't practice YOUR religion?? I am very spiritual, but I think it is worng to push your religion on everyone else, especially when they don't want to hear it. Your way is not the only way...why can't you see that??? Other Faiths are just as ligitimate as yours, atleast they believe in something.....

I am starting over and I only have 2 chairs a couch a bed and a friing pan. I have went to the salvation army and found no help here. I am needing basic household necesities. Like I said this is all I have can anyone help out there. I live in frankfort kentucky

It's just, the majority of the world seems to believe in one god or another and the main principal of if you sin you will go to hell etc. So is it possible that in the end all religions are connected but are just interpeted differently by different people?

I'm not deeply religious myself ,I'm just killing time.

It's amazing how many intelligent people believe in such nonsense. The bible contains so many unknowns and ridiculous ideas!!
Jesus is said to be "god's" son, yet "god" is purported to not even be human - instead, just some being that floats around space. So, this floating being is jesus' father, yet, apparently he didn't even impregnate mary..instead, she just magically became pregnant. So he's the father how?

And Noah's arc.. lol does anyone have any idea how many species of animals there are today, and were back then? There's NO possible way every animal could have fit on one boat.

So, WHY do people believe all of it? Do they know the authors? Do they have proof of any of the stories??? The ONLY difference between the bible and any other fictional book is the number of people that follow it. It's like everyone is 5 yrs old again, and believe something they heard/read SOLELY because their relatives and friends believe it.

Does 'Santa Claus' ring any bells?

Carl Popper once wrote that if human beings want to be perfect that they should change with the times. Its all about religion. dont you think the time has come to drag our religions out of their cultural and tribal prejudices in to which they were born and link it with 21st century human rights values.

now, before anyone's 14 year-old fingers start typing furiously "PUNX NOT DED! L05ER!" I want to you really think about it. im not talking about whats pre-packed and shining in a storefront, im thinking more along the lines of DIY, self reliance kinda stuff... the good bits, if you will.
why has that faded? where did it go?

I find it ironic that people bash Jesus so much? I mean back in his time he was practically persecuted for being a rebel and hanging around with rebels (and disliking the high priest and calling them hypocrites). Yet today, no other religion is more widely picked on than His religion? Why not Buddah or Alah? Really, why Jesus?
