What are the teachings of Jehovah's witnesses, and how do they differ from my beliefs as a Quaker Christian? I've heard so many different things - ie. that they don't believe in Jesus. I would just like some clarity.

Let's really look at this - how much time and money is wasted everyday on religious activities? How many wars and deaths are the direct result of religion? How many confused and misguided people are there due to the insensible teachings of world religions and their churches? When will all of this end? Everyone knows what is right and what is wrong. Just live your life and try not to hurt anyone. Will I ever get to live in a world where most of the population actually uses their common sense and innate sense of reason, and doesn't subscribe to silly notions of supreme beings and eternal bliss or damnation?

The Vatican was built upon the grounds previously devoted to the worship of Mithra (600 B.C.). The Orthodox Christian hierarchy is nearly identical to the Mithraic version. Virtually all of the elements of Orthodox Christian rituals, from miter, wafer, water baptism, alter, and doxology, were adopted from the Mithra and earlier pagan mystery religions. The religion of Mithra preceded Christianity by roughly six hundred years. Mithraic worship at one time covered a large portion of the ancient world. It flourished as late as the second century. The Messianic idea originated in ancient Persia and this is where the Jewish and Christian concepts of a Savior came from. Mithra, as the sun god of ancient Persia, had the following karmic similarities with Jesus. http://www.near-death.com/experiences/origen048.html

O Mary God hath chosen thee and purified thee chosen thee above the women of all nations.(42:3)

O Mary God giveth thee glad tidings of a word from him: his name will be Christ Jesus, the son of Mary, held in honor in this world and the hereafter and of (the company of) those nearest to God;(45:3)

Christ the son of Mary was no more than an apostle; many were the apostles that passed away before him. his mouth was a woman of truth. they had both to eat their (daily) food. see who God doth make his signs clear to them; yet see in what ways they are deluded away from the truth(75:5)

i think the last verse make u know where i get these verses
isnt it making jesus(pbuh) & mary(pbuh) in a great honour in islam
mary is the purified thee chosen thee above the women of all nations
as its said above

MY QUESTION IS :

HAVE YOU EVER READ THESE 3 VERSES B4 ??
& CAN YOU DENY ITS THE WORD OF GOD ???
& HOW YOU CAN ???

Although my question is mainly for Muslims, other people are also welcome to answer it.

The Quran says that god kicked Devil out of the heaven because he refused to kneel to Adam (Haggar 34). However, in other verses (Bakara 36, A'araf 20 & Taha 120), the quran tells that the Devil could get back to heaven and deceived Adam by telling him not to obey god!

- How could the devil get back to heaven to deceive Adam??

Also, in another verse from Quran (Hagar 39), the devil tells god he would go to all Adams sons on earth and deceive them.
- How could the devil know God's intention to send Adam to earth by the time?

One more question, if the devil knew in some way God's plan to send Adam to earth, why did he help god carry out his plan by deceiving Adam? my understanding is that if he did not deceive Adam god would not send him to earth.

If God made any of these wacky religions, then the answer is obviously no, because all those religions hate the f*** out of Atheists.

But take the theist view. God exists, but was smarter than the author of this crazy religions and had nothing to do with them. If God exists, and he made no religion, then its at least possible he doesnt care whether you believed in him or not.

I mean, in moments of insecurity, I care about whether everyone likes me, but imagine your perfect...doesnt that imply absolutely no personal sense of hurt simply because some poor little human doesnt see enough evidence for you existance?

Maybe such a God would even respect Atheists more than stupid religious wackos, claiming he wrote books to stupid to even be the scribble of a modern day child.

Of course, he would ove humble agnostics the most.

Does anyone know where I can find a lawyer to file a class-action lawsuit against Santa Claus, Inc. for breach of contract and discrimination? I'm sure there are loads of good Muslim, Jewish, Hindu, Buddhist, and atheist kids all over the world. Why isn't Santa handing out presents to them? He's racist, that's why! We need to band together and sue his fat red *** off! Who's with me?

(take this as a joke, people.^_^)

I often see Christians in here challenging atheists to prove the non existance of god. They see this as a way of proving god does exist. Their logic seems to be this : If you can't prove for sure that god does not exist, well then he must exist !

So, on to my question.

Christians, can you prove non existance of invisible fairies who fly around in the clouds all day ?

I don't want bible verses, I just want an answer to the above question about the invisible fairies.
