Well im creole and haitian and my father is a Haitian man and he says people dont like Haiti's because of the rural people the voodoo and just plain diffrent customs . He said some people not all live in filthy ways and they are very resentful of their women and sell there children in prostitution so i guess that's why. when guys ask me my nationality because of my mixed carmel skin and thick wavy hair and i say creole and haitian they always say wow your a crazy woman that have voodoo all in her blood.. so i guess thats the main reason diffrent religon and diffrent culture(and i just want to make it clear im a spritual beliver in GOD jesus Christ and in no form or fashion practice voodoo)

I don't thing everyone hates Haiti. For those who do, it could be a number of things. If you live in the Dominican Republic, you probably would hate Haiti for racial (Haiti is mainly black, and DR is mostly white), political (Haiti has taken over the DR once or twice) or economic (Haiti is a whole lot poorer that DR) reasons. If you are not in the Dominican Republic, I don't think there is much of a reason why you should hate Haiti, unless you are concerned with the Voodoo culture found there.

Not everyone hates Haiti. Haitians are wonderful people. The government is a bit corrupt but hey, so is the American government.

not every one hates Haiti i don't its only because its got a bad name because people see movies and read about voodoo,zombies, black magic, its kind of like a pit bull or motor cycle gangs, like the pit bull is only bad when the owner makes it that way, the motor cycle gangs were labeled bad so it stuck ,some of the best people i ever met rode choppers and they would give you the shirt off their back if you needed it, what I'm trying to get at is its people label things how they want and it sticks, hey theirs voodoo,black magic all around the globe,I've never been to Haiti but i bet its nice.
