Although my question is mainly for Muslims, other people are also welcome to answer it.
The Quran says that god kicked Devil out of the heaven because he refused to kneel to Adam (Haggar 34). However, in other verses (Bakara 36, A'araf 20 & Taha 120), the quran tells that the Devil could get back to heaven and deceived Adam by telling him not to obey god!
- How could the devil get back to heaven to deceive Adam??
Also, in another verse from Quran (Hagar 39), the devil tells god he would go to all Adams sons on earth and deceive them.
- How could the devil know God's intention to send Adam to earth by the time?
One more question, if the devil knew in some way God's plan to send Adam to earth, why did he help god carry out his plan by deceiving Adam? my understanding is that if he did not deceive Adam god would not send him to earth.

Because God is bipolar and does not know what he wants or who is for that matter. He may even suffer from multiple personalities which is how the devil know of gods plans. But, this only can happen if one believes that the two or one of them exists.

Biblically, we understand that God kicked the devil out of heaven after the devil tried to ascend past the throne of God. The Lord kicked the devil down to earth. In the process of time, God set up a paradise on earth and put Adam in it. God's intention was that man would rule on earth as his representative in the earth. However, the devil knew that if could trick Adam into disobeying God, he would have rule over the earth and God's creation. The devil was not trying to help God, but trying to hurt God by going after God's most prized possession, which is man. You have to understand that God does not unfold the mystery of His divine purpose to his enemies. For example, the devil thought by crucifying Jesus Christ that he had won the battle, but instead it sealed his defeat. Because, all those who call upon Jesus Christ and are saved, become delivered from the power of the devil. The devil did not know that by attacking Adam it would eventually lead to the coming of Jesus Christ who would defeat him.

well, I am not sure how you view my church which is the LDS church. this church teaches that there was once a big council in heaven where Heavenly father told us of his plan to test us and help us to return to heaven someday by sending us to earth and letting us work our way back by being obeident to the commanments he gave. It was known by god that we would be unable to always remain perfect so part of plan was to send Jesus Christ to earth as an attonement. to take on our punishment. ( which was accomplished by his deatha nd ressurection. )The Devil (lucifer) wanted to be sent intead stating he would force us all to return but he wanted all the glory. Jesus' plan was to allow us our free agency and God would have the glory. Jesus' plan was chosen and the devil rebelled and was thrown out. He can never return as no un clean thing can enter god's heaven. The only was to return is to be faithful and obey the commandments and keep our covenants with God. this is according to my church doctrine oh yes one more point the part of devil tempting Adam. at this point Adam was in the garden but I do not beleive the garden of Eden was still in the Heaven Adam had a physical body already so he had come to earth already. it was a celestial type earth I think as death had not come into the world as yet. When Adam and Eve took the fruit at the tempting of the devil as the serpent they were casted out of the garden the earth then was as we know it now. death happens and people have blood and can reproduce.

The devil is one of Gods fallen angles. He was thrown out of heaven when he tried to be God. Forget the Quran, read King James Version the original. The devil and his followers were all thrown out of heaven and God and him have been in the fight for your soul every since that time. The only difference is that God gives you a choice of who to serve, the devil will deceive you into fallowing him to hell.

Allah did kick satan out of Heaven because he was extremely arrogant and refused to bow to Adam, who he considered an inferior creation. Satan was able to gain entrance back in to Heaven by entering the body of a serpent who was the guardian at the Gate of Heaven.
It was no secrect that Allah intended to make man a viceregent on earth. He declared this prior to blowing life into the body of Adam to an assembly of Angels at which Satan was present.
You seem to have read parts of the Quran, but perhaps you should read the rest of the story to get a better understanding of what happened. Hope this answers your question.

Satan was one of the most beautiful angels in heaven. he knows the bible cover to cover . GOD kicked him out of heaven because satan began to think he was higher than GOD and he became disobediant. Satan took 2/3 of the angels with him and that is were demons come from. There is no way satan could have gotten back into heaven. As far as satan deceiving Adam ....according to the BIBLE satan decieved Eve and caused her to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil Adam followed her actions and this is how sin began. Satan is very wise and he knows the plans of GOD that is why he does all he can to destroy us. GOD has a plan for every person on earth.satan may have power, but GOD is all powerful. Satan will never win the battle against good and evil. I will pray that GOD will minister to your heart and provide you with the light of his word so that you may have full understanding of the BIBLE. GOD BLESS you.

thanks Missy for affirming that each and each man or woman 3 religions all worship the God of Abraham; i actually am Christian (Catholic, so some Protestants will say that i'm no longer quite a Christian, yet that is yet another difficulty), and that i stumble on in disconcerting when I aspect out to different Christians that Islam worships an similar God as we do, or perhaps recognizes Jesus as a good prophet, yet no longer his divinity (and therein lies the conflict of their minds). yet there is continuously wish - Pope Benedict XVI's 'Catholic-Muslim talk board', to be held in Rome in early November, will assemble 24 dignitaries from each and each faith for discussions on the topic of 'love God, love your neighbor'. The convention will ensue only over a three hundred and sixty 5 days after 138 Muslim leaders from quite some sects from 40 3 international locations issued an open letter to Christian church homes urging peace and talk. is this God's hand at artwork? Who is familiar with, yet there are steps being taken in the route of understanding.

i love these questions.
no God kicked Satan out of his mercy not yet heaven. there is different between God mercy and heaven.
in the Quran it mentioned as it's: "get out from it!.."
He did not say get out from my heavens yet! until Adam ate from the tree.
so first Devil refues to kneel down to Adam
2nd Devil got kicked out from God mercy (not yet heaven)
3rd Devil promised God that he will be wherever there is human , and Adam was still in heaven. so the Devil had to stay with Adam in the heaven to deceive him.
4th so after Adam ate from the Tree. they both got kicked out from heaven down into the earth. however Adam has been forgiven but not Satan.
and God knows best

The Devil was eplieptic.
You see, the Devil is the great deciever and brilliant, however, whenever he realizes hes on the losing end of something, God gives him a seizure, which explains why he goes along with a losing plan even though hes so smart.
see?

i think maybe the devil knew that he was wrong, and wanted to deceive adam so that he could take his place.
also, since the devil was at one point in heaven, maybe god told some of the other angels his plan and the devil found out.
just some thoughts.
