They is baptism of the holy spirit in the bible. Baptism in the name of Jesus came after his death but John the baptist recognised his worthiness.

In Matthew 28:19, the command is given. It is carried out throughout the book of Acts (2:38-41, 8:12-13, et.al.), all of which state that people were baptized but make no reference to the actual words spoken at the time of the baptism (if that's what you were getting at).

Nowhere, but at the end of the Gospel of Matthew, Jesus specifically commands His disciples to baptize people in exactly that manner.
See Matthew 28:19-20: "Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you."

Matthew chapter 28, verses 19-20, "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

This part of the baptismal rite is well-founded in scripture, and flows from a command from Jesus Himself.
After His resurrection, Jesus commands his apostles to spread His message, in a passage commonly referred to as the Great Commission:
"Then Jesus came to them and said, 'All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.' "
The passage can be found at Matthew 28:18-20.

Maybe you think the man on the cross beside Jesus had time to be baptized. Do you think so? He was going to paradise to be with Jesus the same day. Baptism is a symbol of faith and not to be argued about. Strain at the net and swallow a camel.

Jesus said that after He died, those who came to Him and were baptized, were actually baptized by fire (The Holy Spirit). Being baptized and receiving the Holy Spirit is the same as receiving Jesus and God, because they are all one in the same. (The Trinity)
