I am the only one who is a little concerned with how much people are trying to always seek approval from other people? What is wrong with just accepting yourself for who you are? And why do a large amount of people care what other people are doing and how they act?

All through my teens there was the cry, 'I wanna be free,' but without a definition of 'freedom from what.'

Does freedom from Control, for example, imply freedom from only a particular controlling aspect of ones life, or?

so the question is, how do you, as people of such rich cultures, which become more and more a hype in the western countries .. think about this hype?
how do you feel seeing people from different countries and cultures wearing your traditional clothes, selling your food as fast food and using your music?

(background: I like a lot indian and arabic music and would like to learn the dances but especially about Indian women, who are also my neighbours, seem to me very rejecting. or maybe I'm paranoid? :)

i think that a lot of people answer question do so because it make theym(their ego) feel good, u feel better then someone else because they dont know and u do know.
or if its a stupid question it feels good to tell theym that the are dumb.
and the ultimate kick is when u get 10 points for best answer because then someone else tells u u are smart... rigt or wrong?

To share with u, i believe that a home is somewhere i really belong to, a place where i own and someone would be waiting for me to come back..
So a home where u live with your parents is not a real home.. Only a home where u share with your other half is the real home
