i think that a lot of people answer question do so because it make theym(their ego) feel good, u feel better then someone else because they dont know and u do know.
or if its a stupid question it feels good to tell theym that the are dumb.
and the ultimate kick is when u get 10 points for best answer because then someone else tells u u are smart... rigt or wrong?

I answer hoping that my answers will help someone in their life. I look for a best answer from my questions knowing that that person took full interest in my answer. When you do this what keeps you going just points that wont do anything? I keep doing it for the satisfaction that i helped someone.

I haven't received 10 points yet myself, I do like to answer Q?'s. It makes me feel good to reach out to people. Like donating blood. I like to share what limited knowledge I have, and I enjoy reading what everyone else has to say. So yeah, you are right.
