Go buy yourself a dream dictionary. Research some of the dream websites. Usually in dreams where you are being chased it is a symbol of anxiety over some problem you haven't faced in real life. The lion itself is another symbol you'll want to look up in the index of your dream dictionary.
How can the dream symbols have the same universal meaning for every person despite the fact that dreams are highly subjective experiences dependent on a multitude of highly personal details of a person's life? It is interesting to read what psychologists think dreams mean, what others think they mean, but the only person that knows for sure is you because your unconscious mind allowed you to see it.
Maybe the dream analyses, dream psychologists, and dream interpreters are right on target with their judgements of what dreams mean. Maybe they aren't. That is for you to decide.
