Well that depends on what he is speaking of? My thought is though, why is the man speaking in a forest all alone? Apparently his girlfriend doesn't care enough to be with him or to listen as he speaks. I must admit your question is a bit sexist but then again so are the many answers. Where do woman get off saying they're always right while men are always wrong.
Either way sounds like the man has some things to say about the decorating and she wont listen. Its a shame really, if they share the space, both should have a say in what the place is decorated like.

Typical, muggins is here helping the decorators in order to keep the cost down, but where are you? in the bloody forest, I might have known. See! you were wrong all the time. And you were going to tell her what you said in the forest, but now you have bottled it.
