If you drive looking in the mirror more than what is ahead of you then you will crash. Funny people can not relate this to success in life.

I have never been a fan of boxes, and normally refuse to get in them. Society has a way of wanting to categorize people. As a kid, I confounded some of my classmates because they didn't know weather I was a "kicker", a "prep", or any of the other cliquey steriotypes. I am the same way, now. I could be considered a conservative, because I usually vote Republican, and agree with Republicans on a lot of things, yet I have a deep love of the earth, my fellow human beings, and feel that compassion should always be a factor in decisions, things that some would say make me a liberal. I could be called a feminist because I believe women and men are equals, and should both be treated with respect, yet some might not think I am b/c I don't believe in putting one gender down to raise another up. Men and women are both beutiful, and I don't feel oppressed by my husband (ok, most of the time, lol). Do we have to fit into boxes? If not, what is left to define who we are?

Hi, I find that I personalize almost everything as an attach on me. I think it is related to low self esteem. But here is an example, I sold some special fabric on ebay and now I see that person is selling it to make more money in their fancy store. It hurts my feelings that they didn't want my fabric. I know that sounds ridiculous, but I tend to see the negative first. I think I have a good idea why, as I am 56, recently retired and lonely, so I think my current auto default is to negative . ??? I have had very popular good times in my life, so ???

recently a man asked me what I needed to be ultimately pleasured...
so I told him in explicit and definite terms exactly what I, and I think most women, need to be ultimately pleasured, which includes more of a verbal than actual physical stimulation. He proceeded to say that what I said seemed too manipulative for his taste. So, tell me, why does a man want to "manipulate" a woman's body to the max and balks at "manipulating" her mind, when she even tells him that is what she needs? I suspect it is because this particular man was rather young....but I am not sure. Any opinon guys?

Okay I have issues that stem from my childhood. I have depression and anxiety and I do have a temper problem as well. I have been trying to grow emotionally for a long time and overcome these issues. At times even recently, mainly when acohol induced I become violent and angry. I have recently cut way back on my drinking because of this. Also I have a daughter whom I love VERY dearly, she is my life now. She is my ex's and not my husbands child. My husband is in prison now as well and I am hoping he will get his parole this year. My family is crazy and very f**ked up in the head and they sorta screwed me up as well. Even though all of these things are in my life I still manage to have and KEEP a good job, I take excellant care of my 4 yr old, I am not on assistance and I have my OWN place. I am constantly fighting for happiness although my pschological problems do effect me in various ways detering my complete success. I know everyone will say get counsling, but thats not the question.

My friend has Asperger's Syndrome. He found out he had this a few years ago. He is the most difficult person to get along with sometimes. When we do get along its wonderful and we are the best of friends. His temper and mood swings are so out of control though. One day things will be great and the next he's mad about something I said a week ago that had no importance until now. He's lost almost all of his friends because of his condition and I'm the only one that has been able to put up with his nonsense. We recently had a horrible fight and i'm not sure if I want to continue my friendship with him. He says he cares for me but in an instant he can be very mean. I keep telling myself that its because he has Asperger's and he can't help it. I'm not sure what do to anymore. I care about him so much. I don't want to stop being his friend but then again he's almost impossible to get along with. I know that if I stopped talking to him he would be very depressed. What should I do?

When I feel that when I have problems with anything in my life, it seems to stem from the fact that I don't relax. I think too much. How do I learn to just relax? I know that if I just relaxed, I would have more fun with my friends, not be worried about what people thought about me, or talk to anyone I felt like (especially women at my college).

I'm not depressed, I'm confused. See, I have rejected the idea of universal truth because there's so many beliefs out there, how can any of them be 100% right? Also I have decided to stop worrying about trying to save the world because it only stresses me out. So with that in mind, what's the point of life

I find it amusing that black guys always brag so much telling everyone they have the biggest knobs, coolest features etc... Hilariously my friend is a Canadian girl who is 6ft 3 and 18 stone who after dating a few black guys stated that this rumor is so NOT TRUE. Insted she got a Chinese guy that satisfies her so goes to show about rumors and self promotion. Psychology would tell us this is a sign of serious insecurity. What do you think?

1.Why Women love to shop. is It is the one area of the world where they feel like they're actually in control.?
2.Why Women especially love a bargain jus making the question of "need" is irrelevant, ?
3. why Women never have anything to wear. Don't question the racks of clothes in the closet; you "just don't understand".

4.why Women need to cry. And they won't do it alone unless they know you can hear them.
5. why Women always ask questions that have no right answer, in an effort to trap you into feeling guilty.
6. why Women love to talk. Silence intimidates them and they feel a need to fill it, even if they have nothing to say.?
7. why Women hate bugs. do even the strong-willed ones need a man around when there'?
8 why Women can't keep secrets. They eat away at them from the inside. And they don't view it as being untrustworthy, providing they only tell two or three people. ?
9.Why Women can't refuse to answer a ringing phone, no matter what she's doing. ?

Everytime i see someone yawn, i yawn. And everytime i yawn, someone else yawns.

this happens in person and even on the fone.

if anything the yawn has to be psycologically triggered. i know its not a cold or virus lol

but can the statement 'yawns are contagious' be backed scientifically?

My mother has always been a little off society's norm. But recently I learned that she was abused my grandmother (who died before I was born ... and I have no real idea what happened). Her main problem is that she kind of spouts off at the mouth. She will often slip out obsenties and sometimes disgusting and R-rated things. She also has emotional problems and has a hard time dealing with a lot of emotional stress and I can see it really gets to her. And she also is angered easily in these situations. She really despises the city that we live in, and longs for the country. She can definitely function in the social world but does definitely not like spending too much time around people.

I really feel bad for her now.

Also my aunt, who was beautiful in high school, is now extremely overweight and is schizophrenic and bipolar.

Could this all stem from the grandmother that I never knew?
