can i harm someone accidently using the hypnotic handshake, if i havent had training?

It depends what you do, if it's for their benefit probably not - if you're trying to trick them or don't really know what to do then I wouldn't attempt it - you could permanently damage them by leaving whatever you're trying to do in their mind.
Get some training before you attempt it or be aware of exactly what you're doing and let them know of the consequences

Kind of like shooting an apple off your friends head before you learn how to shoot a bow.
how much money do you have if you are over 18? how much money do your parents have if you are under 18? If the answer is anything less than 3-5 million forget this until you are certified by a recognized school of hypnosis. I have some trouble with the idea of causing my parents to die poor because of my stupidity. Do you???

Hypnotism is a state of overtaking the mental control of the subject being hypnotised for which the hypnotic should possess unique faculties! If the person being hypnotised is physically abnormal it could have adverse effects on that person!
