i am in spain and have friends stayign with host families and its a rule that you cant walk barefoot in their house. they complain about this rule. i said well its not just spain, i went to mexico and its the same there. someone said that theres a spanish culture myth about barefeet that makes them so uptight about it. i said but even so, its common courtesy that you dont go around barefoot in someone else´s house, anywehre in the world. i´m an american and i would never do that, and if someoen did that in my house, i woudl feel very uncomfortable, what do you opine?

I found this in my spam box. "Medications that you need!" Or do you need them really? I think not give me the scientific evidence and then you might one day get me to call it the best treatment, I actually think it is about the worst treatment that they ever found. It is causing too many tragedies, now isn't it?

Are suicides avoidable, if only those who commit suicide can be counseled? Are they longing for some such counseling, or have most of them made up their minds, and wouldn't like the intrusion into their decision? Is the society doing enough to avoid suicides?

I mean... generally they're physically weaker... often less rational.... and frequently wear clothing that inhibits free movement anyway... Other than that, there aren't many differences significant to the situation...
So what is to fear?

I mean... do the rather stupider males actually take the media to heart? By "the media", I refer to the tendency of films and television to always let the women win, no matter where the situation lies on the scale of reasonable to downright ludicrous.

I mean... they're just humans, irrespective of gender...

I have a little boy who is five years old. Recently I've noticed that after he speaks, he mouths the words over to himself. He doesn't say them again, but he simply mouths what he has just said silently. He hasn't noticed himself doing this, and I've not pointed it out. He doesn't do it with everything he says, but he does do it often, especially if he is excited or upset.
Does anyone have any ideas as to what this is? Is this abnormal, and if so, what does it mean?

Thank you for sincere answers, I appreciate the help.

After some time water has been started filling in swimming pool and it reached to female monkey's legs so she lifted her baby and held in her hands. After few mins. water reached to her chest so she put her baby on her shoulder. Then again after some time water reached to her mouth so she put her child on her head... then when water reached to her head and she felt unable to breathe... she throw her baby and start saving her own life... When I was 14 I was in a pretty bad car crash. I was told I would probably never walk again.

I had physio about 4times a week and now I can walk again, painfully.

In NZ you are able to get your licence at 15. Since the crash, I've been so scared to get in a car, let alone try for my drivers licence.

All my friends have it, and i'm the only one who hasn't.

Everytime I go to read the road code I get so angry and so upset I just sit there balling my eyes out.

My parents don't know how I feel, noone does. They all think I'm too lazy to go for it.

It's almost like this physically barrier. I really can't explain this type of fear. I've never felt like this about anything before.

I don't trust myself. I'm scared i'm going to kill someone else on the road.

Please, i'm desperate for help!

What can I do?

In this politically correct world, where spanking your child is now a crime, who thinks that possibly this might have been prevented by parental guidance? Not saying the man wasn't sick mentally, but does it stand to reason that if his parents could disipline him that this tragedy may not have happened?
I do realize the man was sick and still passed through a mental health check. But still,in this PC world,it makes me wonder if his A$$ got whooped like mine when I was a kid,if this would ever have happened.
Just FYI,I got my butt whooped as a kid,and now have a healthy relationship with both parents and my own family.I grew up somewhat resentful, but the lessons stayed.I knew right from wrong.I know that shooting at 65 people is wrong.I wonder if today's kids with all the PC crap will be the next aggressors.

I hear this each and every morning. She strikes a 'bell' sound 4 times, pauses for about 5 seconds and strikes this 'bell' again 4 times, pauses for 5 seconds and this goes on about 8 times altogether. She does this every morning at about 7.30. I've actually seen her on my way to work with her front door open and it looks like one of those triangles you used to play at school in the music lession that she holds up and 'sounds' each time. She has such a serious face when she does this. Do you know what this is all about?
