I don't know why it is so much fun. Mostly I do it online where there is no real threat of danger, but sometimes you just need to do it! You need to see how far you can go and still pull a person back to you. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

I have seen Bobby Hill, Granny (that owns Tweety Bird), Sylvester (the cat that chases Tweety). I find it so difficult not to laugh when the thought comes to mind. How about you?

I'd like to know what people think rather than about any special studies. So there is NO single "right" answer.
Thank you

Do you think that intelligent, rational people can self-diagnose?
Have you ever done it?

I feel like doctors all bring their own baggage to the table (especially therapists and psychologists) and that sometimes this gets in the way of correctly diagnosing a condition.

Ever have any experience like this???

Is it social conformity, fear, mindlessness, lack of imagination, static aceptance of rote, what? Where is the dynamic potential of man when faced with a 6' by 6' metal box?

through extensive study and new information...

Why would someone believe in science?

I understand that science is important for understanding how things like electronics and medicine work, but why do people believe science can answer their deep questions of life? Doesn't everyone want to be loved and accepted, have good things and be happy? I don't think science can do that for us. Your thoughts?

I know this man who I have been crushing since last year. I knew from the moment I met him that he was unique by just the way he looked at me. I see him at my college every week or so and he has complimented me on wearing certain colors to being intelligent. The way he looks at me suggests that he enjoys looking at me. But I just could be nervous when I am around him. Can anyone give me a clear example of what details I could look for in his face to give me more of an idea of what he maybe thinking and or feeling>? (i.e) Facial reading, expressions, the raising of an eyebrow? It would be great to get a serious answer. Thanks.

My friend has obviously been abused in her childhood, she has been raped anally, beaten in many different ways, been called various unpleasant names and at times was abandoned. Additionally, she sometimes was forced to eat rotten food, all these actions had been taken by her parents, I feel for her, but she is very difficult, can often misunderstand things.
She left a job because her manager called her names at work, because of a minor shortage in her till on her 3rd day of employment, and she just resigned almost immidiately after the event.
This shows she can sometimes overreact, even though she seems to not regret this occasion, has has regretted many others in the past.
She seems to have a personality disorder, if so, could the reason for it be the abuse she experienced in her childhood?

If you answer, it would be nice if you could say if you have experience with the issue, and if so, why as this may be beneficial for a court case she has regarding her 9 month old child.

As a child I recall seeing a whiteish vision that I assumed was my deceased grandmother. Upon seeing it/her I pulled the sheets over my head and told this vision/ghost to go away because I was scared. I've never seen it again. Through the course of my life I have had dreams that have come true. I even once dated a guy and in my dream when I awoke I was able to describe what his ex girlfriend looked like...and to my shock I was right. There was a time when I dreamed of a family member that was in a car accident. The next day someone I knew was in one. I don't claim being physic or having second senses for I don't know what that means. But the one thing that really bothers me is the whiteish vision I had. Could it have been my grandmother trying to tell me something. After all these years...I can still remember it like it just happened last night. Am I crazy...what do you think?

for people whom don't want to do anything to appeal to people that actually have a good system of ethics to take action? It just seems like that's where it comes from, or to me "always be honest and do the right things" seems never to be followed by most people in power.
My conscience has gotten me in sticky situations just because I was trying to be nice to someone. Like staying after work to finish something and missing a romantic evening with someone I love, as a prime example.

So, yeah, why should I "always let my conscience be my guide" if it just gets me trampled on?

I want more romantic evenings.
My new phrase is now "Nice guys finish last."

All this publicity! Everyone talking about him? Everyone to be scared of him?

And now there has been copy cats!

Shouldn't we just stop talking about him?

And just pay our respects to the families who lost their children/brother/sister etc.

My heart goes out to all suffering!

We had someone at work similar (?) to this Virg Tech killer - we thought one day he'd lose it and come in shooting everyone. We didn't know what to do so we just continued going to work with him always watching our backs. This is terrible - but what else is there to do? You can't report him because he hasn't done anything wrong? you don't want to hurt this person's character either if you're wrong - so what can you do? any suggestions?

I haven't seen any newscast either talk about proactive measures on what to do if you work or go to school with someone you suspect have the same characteristics as this killer - if I missed some program that discusses it please respond. Thanks!

As a guy I think us men are scared to show many of our emotions. I recently broke up with my girlfriend and it affected me a lot. However, since I didn't feel comfortable talking to our friends about my inner pain, it just kind of built up and burned a whole inside of me. As a result, my work and social life were negatively affected.

What have you observed in your life? Do men or women handle break-ups better?

If you liked this question enough to answer, please give it a star. Thanks.

i cannot take anything easy, keep thinking what is right and wrong. I feel that i am perfectionist to extreme degree and torture myself caught up in vicious circle of thought with no way of finding an answer to self posed questions. I am also very unsatisfied, probably because i am also very passionate.
I sometimes say take it easy, but i cannot. i feel that taking something easy, is against my will, even if i know that it is for my good. if you have any clue of what i am talking, can you help me.?

Were the killings at Virginia Tech a result of better drugs, and medicines? Was he the result of better medicine? Sort of like a super bug or infection? Bread by the new Psychology, and new drugs? Why now? There has never been a time when this has occured? Really ask yourself is it a result of societies being ill or just one person? Are we as much to blame for the killings? Did the new Psychology fail or did it create this new strain of killer?
