I was watching a movie last night called "Traces of Death". I am a fan of horror and weird movies like Eraserhead.

Anyways, There is a clip in the movie where some politician shoots himself during a press meeting. It's very, very, very, disturbing and traumatizing, and usually nothing gory makes me cringe.

But this morning, I was watching "Best Week Ever" on VH1, and there was a clip about how a mother and daughter french kissed each other for like 1-2 min, in order to win tickets to a Larry the Cable Guy, on some televised radio talk show. When saw them I was totally grossed out and turned away. I find it interesting that an act of this kind effects me more than scenes of carnage. what would you find more revolting? Or do you have an uncommon fear of some sort?Like the fear of pennies?

I haven't noticed it but I always think that Im best than everyone else.. I have empathy for other people and I love to help others but sometimes I think Im the best or at least I try really hard. I also believe that I am v ery smart and I constantly put down my boyfriend just to feel superior and it happens with everybvody even if I dont want to. I also think that I have an extraordinary ability for things and that no one can be better...like at art or reading etc... or college. All of this has bugged me for a long time but I always thought I was the nicest girl on earth now I am starting to think that I give myself too much credit! what can I do?....at work, at school, with my family, my friends etc.. I think I am the best... but I don't want them to hate me for that...

My next door neighbor seems to get great pleasure out of teaching his 6 year old grandson how to fire a toy gun. I find this very odd, especially with the recent Virginia Tech shootings. He also quite frequently takes a bb gun and shoots squirrels in his backyard, which is dangerously close to mine. Is this normal behavior?

This is an absolute disgrace on the side of Youtube, it is happy to publicise evil mass murderers but if you put more than ten seconds of copyrighted content on the site you are in breach of Youtube Terms of Service.

There are many thing that I enjoy doing, but I can't seem to become passionate about them. My personality is very bland because my interests aren't at all obvious.

I enjoy the outdoors, web/graphic design, art, and I love trucks and muscle cars. Those are just a few of my interests.

How do I get passionate about an interest of mine? I mean, I want to get close to addicted to it! Lol!

i'm falling in love with myself... i know i'm not physically perfect but everytime i look at my reflection, I just can't keep from staring at my own image. Sometimes I even feel a strong lust. I'm not gay. It's just that I love my own image but sadly i can't have "me" to be with me. I hope my question makes sense... =j

In my past relationship (I left so there's no need to lecutre me), my ex would say things (such as the c-word) when we'd fight and things were heated just to set me off. There's a reason this word bothers me and is an entirely different issue. He know it bothers me an everytime he did I would snap and hit him. He would then commence to hit/choke/kick/etc.. me.

I want to understand this behavior.

My question is why can't men control their anger. 2 wrongs don't make a right however, a "good man" would not hit let alone not stop hitting a woman even though I was not right for hitting him.

Best answer is detailed about the behavior eacue/effect/etc.. and lists sources.

After noticing that Cho was troublesome since 2005, why didn't someone put a stop to this kind of behavior? Sure, teacher reported him and then what? Where were those administrators that are supposed to look into this and try to find solutions? How come Cho's behavior, or mean streak was left unnoticed by administration? What could they have done to have stopped this most sad and horrific incident?
Teacher did her job, what about the follow up from administration?
